Seriously, between the Pedal Zone and JleonardJ I am completely sold on this to notes cab m... I’ve always been an “all tube amp” snob my whole life but this has really opened up my realm of possibilities... The affordability and back problems from lugging around 80 pound combo amps is a no brainer on this pedal!!!

Jay, Excellent Video. You seem like a receptive guy..so..you asked what I think. Well, as a guy who plays professionally I love the sounds this makes, and features..but Ive already got it handled by other devices. I had to: I needed to do these tasks starting 8 years ago. But newer players..can just buy this and be done with it! Great demo.

I have the Mooer Radar pedal on my board and its does a great job of shaping tone to being perfect. I do find it a bit limited with IR's about loading new ones. I have never been able to get the pedal to load new IR's I wanted. SO I am looking for something I can and this might be what I am looking for. People always think that delays, and reverb are the only things you need just is not so. Those are a must, but what else is a must is being able to use different cabinets like this, EQ pedal, and a Preamp pedal I have always used. I use the Mooer Gold 012 Preamp pedal right now and it truly helps color your tone running in the effect loop. I'm able to dial in nearly any sound to sound almost like any band. But it seems the fun never ends with new gear. Glad I can across your video. I'm now going to have buy one. Know my wife is going to hate you for this, haha! 😉😉

I’ve been thinking about getting a Benson preamp for its drive capabilities, and a Cab M for all sorts of versatility, and was thinking “if the two together can make a workable super portable sound, that would push me over the edge.” Was watching this video to hear more of the Cab M, then bam, you did exactly what I was wondering about! You may have just sold two things 😂

I often use any one of several overdrive pedals I have lying around into Two Notes Wall of Sound in my studio. I've gotten some killer amp tones that way. Even the biggest toob snobs among my buddies have been fooled into thinking it's an amp. And I can load any cabinet which fits the sound I'm looking for. So much fun...

Brilliant Jay! Awesome use of this piece of technology! Im always at awe of your playing though bud - energetic, soulful, and rawkness! Keep it up man! Hopefully your channel keeps growing bud!! And also, I think that things are going in an interesting direction in terms of traditional instruments and music right now... We're not really at the forefront of the light anymore and that gives us a chance to grow in different directions and expand... Hopefully with technology and a twist of different thinking - pedals and instruments will take music to a whole nother level! Only time will tell

Ain't nobody... Does it better... Than Jay! Great video as always. My very animated bass player had a bad habit of taking out my amp mic. Damn that is so good. Great demo Jay. I've recently have been looking at this type of setup and I had been heavily looking at the Iconoclast. This thing comes out and it just does so damn much. There are obvious trade offs between the two and I wish I could get the opportunity to mess with both units with my setup to see which one would work best for me. I definitely think that digital processing has gotten amazingly good in the past few years. It also cuts down on my carry load which is always good! I love my "real" amps, but with digital leaders like two notes, neunaber, line 6, meris and many more, it has become abundantly clear that digital can sound just as good as an analog setup and opens up new possibilities for us as musicians. Nice demo and props again to two notes for delivering a fantastic product.

Hey Jay, Can you please help me. I have a torpedo cab m and a fender hot rod deluxe. I'd like to know how to use my fender tube amp section through the torpedo without damaging anything. I am aware the fender's speaker has to take the load at all times ( i DO NOT HAVE A LOAD BOX), so that's fine with me if the speaker is connected . One question is .....Can the cab M handles the load from the Deluxe Reverb amp as you explained on minute 4:25 ?? To my surprise, i thought cab M is not a loader but just a preamp passive signal that can then be put on your DAW ??? a biy confused because then there is no use for the Captor using your method !! erhhh ??? Can you explain what signal has that (copper/silver) cable that you connected from the Amp ( is it from the output of the Deluxe amp or the preamp section? ) Please can you or someone explain this ??

Thanks for sharing this nice video! I have some questions about the CAB M... When you use the CAB M in gigs you don't use the CAB M pre-amp, PowerAmp and cab sim functions right? Then why is it useful for in those situations? And I guess the tone is different from when you play at home or studio since you are using the real amp preamp, power-amp and cab, isn't it? Furthermore, the response of the amp to external pedals should be different too.... I don't get the point how to use this device to get always the same tone (gigs, studio and home).

HI Jay - great demo. One question. When you use the CAB M as a DI in conjunction with a mic in front of the speaker, are the two signals out of phase? Does the CAB M allow you shift it's signals back into phase with the other? I currently use a Radial JDX for a DI as well as a mic in front of the amp going through a Radial Phaser (to get that big sound through the PA). This allows me to sync the sounds up (or intentionally get that out of phase sound which is sometimes pretty cool). I'm really interested in this CAB M - looks like a must have for so many reasons. Awesome playing as usual too... thanks Jay. Cheers, Pete

Top notch demo Jay! As a guitarist and audio engineer, I'd love to see something like this as a stereo stomp box though, maybe even with an A/B/Y feature. Something to the likes of the Digitech Cab DryVR, but much more fully featured with all these options going out (to) two different cab IRs. Stereo sound-scaping without the likes of a physical amp, even as small as a Princeton, would be tremendous. I'm chomping at the bit to make a rig happen with proper stereo IRs for a DI setup, and this is SOOOOOOOO close!!!

@JayLeonardJ Hi Jay, If you had the choice between the Cab M and the Neunaber Iconoclast for your direct to "front of house" solution, what would you choose? Thanks for the great videos.
@JayLeonardJ Жыл бұрын
The Iconoclast is great for that "ideal" cab sound. No fizz or harsh frequencies and everything is just smooth and lovely. The CAB M. is a very true representation of the response of a real cab with real mics. That being said, I do find I reach for the CAB M more often when I need to go the cab sim route.

What about the HiFi monitors that you are using. Saying that your sound is consistent just because you are using cab M is a bit of an overshot, because one of the variables is going to be the the HI FI speakers that are playing the cab M sound.
