The only assist I use is medium traction, hopefully I will be able to learn traction off really quickly like how I managed to learn manual gearbox within a day or two. Thanks for the tips!
@bublik117 жыл бұрын
i just bought a wheel and hopped in with all asssists off except racing line/speed line thats the only way to learn.. it takes time to unlearn so why bother with traction control? the racing line i know how to take, broblem is when to brake.i do have some good laps and sometimes i spin out but its happening less and less

I learned to drive without abs or traction control on F1 2017 was quite hard at first but I'm getting the hanger of it after only the 1st gp

Nice video JD. I was hoping a video like this would come out when f1 2015 released, as that's the time I got my first f1 game. Played with many assists, but I have learnt how to drive with no assists now :). It's really a lot more fun to play the game without assists so my suggestion to other gamers is just take it step by step with the assists. If I could manage to put of all assists, then anybody can.... Again great work JD

I really can't do pad driving on F1 games.. I tried so much when I had no wheel, but then I got a wheel, and I was instantly faster.. Like, maybe 1.5s faster, that was with no wheel experience..

I use a controller for f1 games rn so I can’t really turn off abs nor traction control cuz I don’t have the same amount of control at the throttle and brakes than on pedals
@doctorno15168 жыл бұрын
I'm able to run without traction control on F1 2010-2014, but on this game I just can't seem to do it. It's probably the physics of the game. Hopefully 2016 will suit me better....
@oogieeman8 жыл бұрын
i agree. without traction control I felt more 'connected' to the car. the feedback fit naturally, so you instinctively knew what the tail of the car was doing. I could actually feather the throttle. Now I have to be careful and think about it. and when you are thinking about it in a race, then you are thinking and not racing.

F1 2014 had a hidden traction thing for pads. That is why i guess, still its the same over here f1 2014 beat legend AI easy now I'm having trouble beating expert w/o assist.

im also using tc off since a week or so, im noticing my Speed (f1 2014) being pretty damn good in time Trial, but as soon as it Comes to a real Grand Prix tire wear is just incredibly high and i usually have to stop 5-10 laps earlier, but whenever i try to look after the tyres and not making them overheat etc. im losing at least half a second each lap. Im on a wheel, any suggestions? cheers nic

Use lean for your launch and then switch back to rich after 2 gear :)

TRL Limitless Oh, I used rich for the whole start because I though it was quicker. I guess it creates more wheel-spin though. Thanks for the tip!

hey. when ever I do a race my engine is always red hot and makes my car slower and I don't know how to keep it cool while staying fast
@ashlittle45458 жыл бұрын
Your changing gears to late! Change right when the top purple lights on the wheel light up or just when the right hand side Rev gauge just tips into the red, no later or engine damage will begin to kick in. Check out my channel for good examples or gear and engine management bud.
@TheDangerousDoughnut8 жыл бұрын
I had this too, but it wasn't actually because of the shifting gears. I had used no tc for quite a while, but then my engine would turn red hot, and after a few frustrating league races, I found out my r2 was broken. When I pushed down r2 as much as possible, I would never get full throttle therefore overheating the engine. So I had to change accelerator to r1 which means I cannot use no tc. My friend also had this problem but fixed it by taking his controller apart, but I do not trust myself to do this.

Braking hard then letting off the brakes as going into the corner. I find it easier with a wheel than a controller as it suits my style.

+TD BAINS I used to lock up a lot when i was learning, got called a pussy for having all assists on when I was 15, after that no assists took me around 6 months to master.. Maybe I am slow but I'm faster now 👌
@Sosuke07278 жыл бұрын
Eh... How about doing this on game like F1-2002 , F1- 2006 CE or F1-2007 ? From my personal experience they MUST be on because on those season was still used on the real cars . And this Codi games as well the car since 2010 don't have it , because were slower than those times...

Does anybody think it's worth it to try to learn to drive without TC on F1 2015, or should I learn how to use no TC at the start of F1 2016? (Btw I can drive reasonably well without TC but not like league standard pace.)

What is it that ppl think turning off traction control is a good thing. The real F1 cars have it, so why oppose it? Now auto braking and turning and racing line n all that stuff should go. But if it's on the real car, it should be used.
@JDisLimitless8 жыл бұрын
Perhaps in real F1, strictly talking about the game as it isn't a sim :)
@NeonsStyleHD8 жыл бұрын
TRL Limitless I guess there's only one reason to have it off. The community you race with have come to think of it as an aid, and as such it has to go.
@prithvirp8 жыл бұрын
The real F1 car has no traction control (since 2008) nor ABS.
