As someone who has post surgical hypothyroidism, that is now resolved ( thanks 🙏 Dr daro from Africa ), I actually broke down crying when you talked about how taxing it can be on a person. I went years feeling horrible, and it changed my relationships and also changed my life. I’m in a better place now, but still feels good to be validated and educated.

Thyroid dysfunction is a huge. I'm glad you found this video and feel seen... I feel like the thyroid is still overlooked and ignored in its overall impact of your health. 💛

I’ve been on levothyroxine for 25 years and I’ve got eczema on my hands too. My dr prescribes Triamcinolone Acetonide cream USP, 0.1%… works great! The only thing that does work… good stuff!

I’ve been on levothyroxine for 25 years now and yes, an eczema rash on my hands and fingers. The only thing that works for me is a prescription strength Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% works miracles. I use it as soon as I start to get that old familiar itch. And it completely goes away within 2/3 days. I had to use it almost daily for the first month and now the flair ups are only 3 or 4 times a year.

Hey there! Thank you for the helpful informations! I had chronic urticaria for one year now. 20 days ago I finally decided to face it and see a skin doctor, she asked me for some analysis, TSH and TPO and some other ones. My TSH was fine (2.02) and everything else were good as well, except TPO were a bit higher (82.01). the allergist sent me to see a thyroid doctor (sorry I don't know its name in english), she gave me a medicine for a little inflammation that she found in my thyroid, she said it's a little bit inflammation it just started.. and she asked me to take Selenium for two months, and go back and see her after six months.. I'm really afraid because of these antibodies. Is it surely that they will damage my thyroid and developping hypo? Or there's a chance that nothing bad will happen to my thyroid, please? As I said everything was good even TSH was good too.. I hope to hear from you. Thank you again!

I also noticed that because Hashimoto's is pretty much a womens disease accept for men who have low Testosterone that I had my testosterone tested and it was low not off the range but low and doctors do not want to address it. Why can't they prescribe it to raise the testosterone just enough to see change?

I had to be hospitalized for this and the doctors still didn't notice my thyroid issues.

After watching and listen to some videos on this I have come to believe that my GA (Granuloma Annulare) is hives and is connected to my Hashimoto's and very high TPO numbers. As of 6 weeks ago I have been dealing with Hives showing up only at night. My Doctor has started me on Granulated Bovine thyroid and wants me to start Cholestyramine.
