No one can stop Angelina from becoming a world star. That's just how it is! Her first album will be released in 2023 with Republic Records. Over the years, she will become a legend for the great moments in the world. She has plenty of time. Remember she is just 17 tears old, which we forget when we see her perform. Republic Records who should also be praised for appreciating this unique talent.

I always enjoy listening to knowledgeable people breaking down the magic that Angelina creates. There is so much going on when she sings. She utilizes so many little techniques at every twist and turn of a song, but it is all so perfectly and eloquently placed that it is never seems out of place or 'over the top'. I have never heard another singer as skilled at threading that needle between 'not enough' and 'too much', and she manages to do it every time.

I've listened to many versions of this song by various artists including the original by Adele. No Disrespect meant to Adele or the others but The Barefoot Princess does it again!!! I fell in love the first time i heard this song when adele sang it...listened to it over and over. Then i heard Angelinas version and, no insult to Adele, but Angelina does it SOOOO much better that I only listen to this one now. Angelina is so much more dynamic than any other version of this song I've heard including the original. I think part of this is the industry's practice of volume leveling songs so they are uniformly loud regardless of how the artist originally sang them. I hope Angelina manages to avoid all this post-production that is so common in today's music.

I loved the ability that Angelina had to immerse herself in the soul of the song, with her usual naturalness and I appreciated her unique and fascinating way of giving it to us. Jennifer thank you so much for your wonderful reaction and analysis to Angelina's version of Adele's beautiful song, "Easy On Me". Angelina's music touches me unlike any other in my 63 years. I tear up just seeing her cuddle with her grandmother Mery at the start of the video. Mery is recovering from a recent surgery and has been Angelina's best friend and mentor through her life. Mery was a prodigy for art and poetry while growing up in Iran. We angels owe Mery and the rest of Angelina's family so much for providing a loving environment, allowing her talent to blossom. We continue to be patient, letting Angelina enjoy her youth before Republic Records begins to promote her in earnest. I highly suggest you react to one of Angelina's original songs, "Million Miles" which she dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one.

I was not a fan of Adele until I heard Angelina do some covers of her songs and now, I am a fan of AJ doing Adele covers. Angelina can cover anyone and make their songs an absolute dream work. As usual; AJ has taken this to an ethereal level she is without a doubt a genius. There is something that is so special about AJ and It is not just her wonderful voice; it is her total being that draws one in. Remember she is only 15 but has been astonishing people since she was 6 years old.

I think this is Angelina's best performance in her 15th year, so far!!!! She is clearly becoming more comfortable with being filmed for music videos; a step on from being filmed whilst performing to an audience. I'm so excited to see what her 16th year is going to bring. Angelina is a polished professional genius that has been wowing crowds since she was 6 years old. All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. I very much enjoy your reactions, Jennifer! Being the prodigy that she is, and having made decisions from a very tender age which have impacted her future, and family, Angelina obviously identified with these lyrics from the first moment that she heard them. Just six hours after Adele's OG dropped, Angelina made a partial TikTok (she appears to use TT and IG for experiments) of the song. Is she possibly telling us, her followers, to "go easy" while she finishes her studies? The first man featured in the video (and accompanying her on the piano as well) is Rob Christie, studio director for Republic Records on the West Coast. He has a Grammy to his credit. The second fellow is Cole MeCarthy a professional at filming and directing videos. Finally you see Mery, her maternal grandmother. Angelina has called her "my other half" and "my inspiration". They are extraordinarily close.

Thanks for such a knowledgeable analysis. When I compare this with Adele phrase by phrase, there is just so much more going on with Angelina’s voice and technique! That deliberate quavering in some of the runs, the extra breathy sections, the fry, the vibrato, etc., and all in the right places and amounts. Just stunning.

Hi, it is said, that ADELE feels honored by Angelina Jordan, doing covers of her songs. I dont know if that s true, but as AJ is nowadays a huge name in her trade, i can believe it. When a Marc Ronson sends her a tape to cover one of his famous songs, Sir Elton thanks her for polishing up his "old" song, Queen invite her to meet on stage.... I think the is enough. Million Years Ago, All I Ask, When We Were Young, Someone Like You, Make You Feel My Love, and now Easy on Me. Adele and AJ have an interesting partnership although Adele is hardly aware of it. Adele wears her heart on her sleeve, suffers heartbreak, divorce and endless hours on the analyst coach to distill these experiences into remarkable song lyrics. Then she cuts a "demo" that AJ listens to and says "I understand what you want to say, here is how I would sing it." And then she does. Adele may sing the words but AJ finds the underlying meaning and emotion and gifts it to us. Adele, please keep writing songs for AJ to sing. The depth she adds is remarkable.

Excellent and well-detailed reaction! Thank you. There is a way that Angelina the person gets out of the way for the song to be the focus. The effect is that we hear the words and the potential intention of the song .. and it is clear .. both in sound and emotion. She is a phenomenon to me not only for her extraordinary talent and vocal strength and vocal intelligence in her singing but because she turns them into extraordinary gifts. She becomes a teacher for anyone looking for options and improvements in their own singing and she also becomes a therapist of sorts in having deep emotional content that calls and nurtures others. I'm not even going to read this over because I've been wanting to say something like this and I'll be tempted to delete it. I hope some of you get what I'm trying to say.

Angelina is a polished professional genius that has been wowing crowds since she was 6 years old, she is 15 here. All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. If you view all of her performances you would be aware they are all at prodigy level.

Both are great, but Adele being a non-jazz singer isn't able to permeate the deepest recesses of the human soul as a true jazz artist like Angelina. Angelina incorporates nuance and inflections by Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse and Amy was the most uniquely different style jazz singer of all time. Billie's 'breathy' style, when combined with the radical ability Amy had perfected, gives Angelina an arsenal that is beyond what other singers bring forth. Add in Angelina's seemingly unlimited range and overall ability and you have a truly unique jazz singer. She has redefined Amy and I never thought anyone could further refine the genre like Angelina has. And all this with not yet reaching her 16th birthday just boggles the mind.

Doesn’t Adèle have some jazz in training? I know she was very inspired by Amy Winehouse who was of jazz singer, or that was one of her many talents. Adele can be very jazzy when she wants to be. Just enjoy both her and Angelina no need to put one down in favor of the other.

It’s OK to prefer Angelina, but you can’t say Adele doesn’t connect to the deepest recesses of the human soul or whatever it is you said, when billions of people have made her the top singer in the world for that very reason. It’s not just having a good voice, is the fact that she writes and performs/ interprets lyrics in a way that reaches your soul. And this is what people were saying about her long before I finally became a fan.

I know that today’s singers don’t use precise diction, but I like not having to decipher the words that she is singing. I wish I could understand her better because I love her voice.
