Your step program has been inspirational to my grandson who is blind. He has been faithfully participating in your program for the last 6 months. Though he is blind your instructions are easily understood and his Mom spots him so that he moves with good form. It's impossible to understand the difficulty a blind person has in trying to reproduce any movement, not ever having seen it. Jake has taught the steps he has learned in your you tube videos to his classmates at Perkins School for the Blind, being given that opportunity by his amazing phys ed teachers. Now there are many other blind students who are picking up on your lessons and staying fit with smiles on their faces. Thank you, Jenny Ford.

Hi Janet, wow! This absolutely brightened my day! Thank you so very much for taking the time to post, and tell my about your grandson, as well as other students. I was so deeply touched by his mom spotting him so he can do my step workout. I would absolutely love to feature your grandson on my site, but understand with him being a minor it may not be something you'd be comfortable with. I only wish I lived closer so I could meet him! We are slowly making our way to film workouts in every state in the USA. Maybe when we get to Massachusetts someday, we could meet. Is there anything else I could do as far as creating another workout for children such as your grandson that would make it even more easier for them? Maybe a little slower tempo for the music? This is just so wonderful to me! I'm happy to help if you think there's anything more I could do. Please tell him hello, and give him a hug for me, and tell him to keep on moving, I'm so proud of him! I think he's just fantastic!!! (He obviously comes from an amazing family!)

You know, I never thought about blind people having difficulty with certain exercises since they can't see them modeled. How challenging that must be. It's so great that these videos have helped your grandson and others. Hope it's still going well!

What an amazing story. Thank you for sharing. My dad was tragically blinded at 80. He is totally blind and continued to hit golf balls at the driving range under the supervision of an instructor. So I am always interested in hearing about blind people’s experiences. My dad is now 92. The best to you and your grandson.

This 30 minute workout took me about 40 minutes today because I had to pause and catch my breath. The moves are so simple, but they maximize your workout. I was huffing and puffing. I'm going to break this workout in twos. 1st 15 minutes one day and the last 15 minutes another day.

This is a very good beginner step workout. The beat is perfect at 126 bpm, unlike alot of beginner step videos that start at 130 bpm. You need time to think about the transitions and Jenny does a great job explaining how to do it. You get a great cardio workout while toning major muscle groups.

During December I did this 3 times a week. The first 2 weeks were difficult and I had to stop 2 to 3 times per session. For the last 2 weeks of the month I was able to get through the entire session without stopping. My plan for January is to do this 4 times a week as I feel my body couldn't handle anymore. I love that it gets me sweating (not buckets but enough) and my heart rate up. I get a good endorphin high after and makes me feel good for the rest of the day. Trying to first get the covid- weight off and then work on the extra weight that I had prior to march lockdown back in 2019. Love her enthusiasm and how she talks you through and motivates you throughout the video. Keep it up Jenny ❤️☺️ thank you for getting me up and moving

I started a bench aerobics class when I moved to Georgia in 2010. I had never heard of it before then. I had injured my back working as a Union Welder and had to have two back surgeries. After my surgeries I was able to get up and walk, between walking and bench aerobics I lost the 120 lbs I had gained after I became bed ridden from my injuries and chronic back pain. I purchased the equipment and am now doing these videos at home. I agree Jenny you are a wonderful instructor and I enjoy these thoroughly. I feel so much better and am eternally grateful for your giving me my life back. I am introducing some friends to this as well. God Bless you.

Hi Jenny. I'm a 68 year old woman and haven't done step for years, but recently got back into exercise and do several types during my daily hour of exercise. I happened upon your videos and realized just how much I used to love step!! I first practiced on the floor and then bought a full studio size step, that arrived today. Thanks for all of your videos. I especially like those that have the timers onscreen. I just feel it keeps me focused on finishing so I can get to the 100% mark. There are certain steps that I still find awkward (like the leg back arms forward) but I just substitute those. Perhaps at some point I'll be more comfortable with them. Thanks again!

Hi Jenny. I've never 'stepped' before. I'm a full time dad, looking for a good workout while my 2yo naps. My cardio of choice is running, but I can't really go for a run while my boy naps though, so my physio suggested step aerobics. Got a step 2 days ago. Found your video and gave it a try. My running heart rate is usually 160-170bpm. "No way is this routine going to get my heart up there", I thought. Oh wow was I wrong. HR got up to 157! I really felt like this was a quality 30 minutes for my fitness. Thank you for posting this video. I really enjoyed the workout. I will be doing this tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after. And ... Cheers :)

"there's no way I can keep up with her.") But today it was a different story, thankfully. This workout was a lot of fun and the side leg kicks a bit challenging but good for me! My average bpm was 122 and I'm 72. So, I'm pleased with the results. Your voice is enjoyable to listen to and your upbeat personality is delightful! Just looked and saw you have a May, 2021, step aerobics posted! I'm so excited to see you are still doing the stepper and here for me/us! Omg this was so hard for me. But I love the challenge and the sweat! I hope to build my endurance up. Loved the easy to follow step moves.

Not having enough space to whirl around my lounge, I've been doing basic steps but needed more and this did just that. Great workout, thank you, roll on tomorrow 🙌👏

This is amazing! Step aerobics used to be my favorite workout years ago.. after having 3 sons and long working hours i drifted away... bought myself a step and started at home with Jenny on the screen.. i am grateful my body still remembers the moves... Thank you Jenny for the encouragement :)

I bought my step equipment quite a few years ago and I'm finally getting the motivation to start using it. This workout was the perfect introduction for me to gain confidence with the moves. Not too dance-y but not too easy either. It got my heart rate right where it needed to be, too. Thanks, Jenny!

I'm like Amy one of the other commenters... I'm was worn out in about 15 minutes but will come back tomorrow.... I'm just purely out of shape since recovery from a foot injury "morton's neuroma". I still have problems with it but hoping I can last. I use to be a runner for about 2 years but after the foot injury...nothing. I hope this helps with my balance and improve my stability too... :)

Thanks Jenny. IN my 20's I was a daily step class participant - now 3 grown kids later - in my 50's ....I haven't done STEP in years, and pulled out the old step today to give it a try with your beginner video. I feel great! Whew- but tired! I ALMOST didn't make it - but I am so encouraged! It is a great re-introduction, and I plan to continue exercising with you. THANK YOU - great video!

Ditto 16 minutes. I'd forgotten how strenuous this can be, especially for an unfit 47 yo. Thank you and back again tomorrow. 👍🏼

Hi Imene, be sure to first check with your doctor to see if it is safe for you to workout that much. If you're just starting, give your body time to build up endurance and strength. But this workout is 30 min. and it is recommended to get in at least 3 sessions of cardio per week that last from 30-60 min. Hope that helps.

Love it. Surprised myself by lasting the whole vid, and I found a workout out video that doesn't mention weight loss once. Off to do yoga for a couple days try and stretch my legs out for those kicks.

I had been doing the 22 minute beginner step routine with the timer and that KILLED me. Then the other day, I couldn’t find that video, so the only option was the 30 minute workout without a timer. I did it!!! I didn’t think I would make it but I did! So glad I found your videos!

Vintage Peach that's a better idea, till I get enough off to do the steps. I'm sorry I tried but it's a lot on me for a 396 pound woman.

Oh man! My chiro recommended that I get a step and start using it because women "of my age" need to get the calcium into those bones. I got a step and loved it right away, BUT, I just couldn't get the hang of the beginner work out I was doing. I don't know if it was a strength or coordination problem. Within a couple of days I found myself putting off my workout. I really didn't understand why, until I decided to try this Jenny Ford work out. I felt successful all the way through. It was so good! Now I know I was putting off working out because I was worrying too much about being successful. With Jenny, I could concentrate on the workout, not trying to get it right. I am successful from the start! What a difference in attitude. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. Thank you Jenny Ford!
