I am so glad you covered this tune I was just listening to it on lunch I know I have the chops I still can't get my fingers fast enough to change cords when playing time in a bottle but thank you for posting this and taking the time to show how it's played much appreciated I think I might need a second acoustic guitar with a wider fretboard I have big hands LOL

Croce plays some parts differently. F.e. the 'now were just lonely people' part. He plays it with open chords wich enables 'faster' playing. This can be seen in a live video on KZbin.
