The Jeff is the modern jet for me. These rockets are very good, as you get 32 of them. The only problem is that they take the same slots as the missiles. It is also possible to launch on multiple targets. Leave a pause of 5 to 7 seconds between launches, then use that time to readjust the pod to a new target after the first impact. Its scrappy but it does work.

Fun fact: if you analyse a bit the JF-17.lua file where you can find the posible loadouts for each pylon, you will see that there are inactive lines for pylons 3 and 5 containing BRMs. If you delete the "--" from the start of the line, it becomes active and you can have 4xSD10/LD10 on outer wing pylons and BRMs on inner wing pylons for A/A-A/G combo or for SEAD+CAS. This of course is "corrupting" the original file (so make a copy and remeber its locationjust in case) and it will not work in multiplayer. But you can have fun in singleplayer. I hope they will make these lines official one day.

One thing to check: As far as I can tell Armor thickness is modelled. If I hit a tank from the rear from high up (engine compartment/top of turret) it seems to do more damage than a low hit on the front armor.

Idk, maybe its interesting to some: The " In Range" Notification is a suggestion. It comes at around 4 miles, I tested out to 8 miles and got consistent hits.

I like to use them with Predator marking the targets, and rather than just firing them blind I use the WMD7 with Laser Spot Search and zoom in to see what I am firing at and adjust my position if need be to avoid firing at a target that is being blocked by trees or buildings. Also make it fire and forget as the rocket is being led by the Predator.

If you're careful, they can be used with enough stand-off to take out AA guns, even shilkas. Also, I've used them against T-72s and have consistently destroyed them with a single rocket.

Quick comment: you can use 2 BRMs for 1 tank, just aim the laser manually (without a lock on) to hit the turret instead of the body (the rear of the turret is the sweetest spot). usually it does some critical damage and the tank will blow up soon. But since this is also a new video and i assume everyone is playing the latest update, does anyone have problems with the laser burnouts? it seems to stop working after about 5-10mins of working. The mode is AUTO so it should and it shows that it does turnoff after a successful hit, but after some time it does not turn on. i tried turning it on/off manually - still the problem persists.

Thank you for the video! As a beginner its a great content to learn the jeff. I would have one question: how do you switch from area track to point track? Is this only possible if you see very precisely the target from a close distance ?

Area / point track available at roughly 21 NM. But as designator is seldom on tgt once you lock it goes to area track. Find the tgt and hit lock to point track.

Has something changed since Feb? Im detroying T-90s on the move no problem with 2-3 rockets. Probably just the angle of attack, Im generally hitting them from higher altitude and steeper angle of attack.
