Well, nobody knows why Ledger's Joker does what he does in that movie either, so... No wonder all kinds of dumbass edgelords and performers of fake victimhood have made that character their "hero" over the years. They could just pretend he was motivated by the same silly fake grievances they have, because his real motivation is completely unclear and never explained. Problem is, Heath Ledger was a talented actor - he could convey that there might be something deep, traumatising, and substantial that made The Joker the way he is, even though we never learn what it is. Moxley is as good at the "acting" part of pro wrestling, as he is as a "brawler". His "tough guy" mugging and twitching/flouncing is just hilarious. Like a villain from a 1920s slapstick comedy. And when he opens his mouth and starts to talk/slur/mumble, the real laugh riot starts... I wish he would end every one of his promos by falling head-first into a cake, to make the travesty complete. The only thing that guy can convey, is that he's an overgrown pissy child throwing an obviously fake tantrum.

Watching these matches just as a fan, not an insider, I always think something that was touched on here: there are long periods of time where nothing is happening, and they’re obviously setting something up, but they’re just wandering around or carefully climbing the ropes, and ignoring each other. When they’re supposed to be involved in a competion with each other it’s so distracting. Not just this match and not just AEW, I wish they’d make an effort at least to make it look more real. I guess in today’s environment it doesn’t matter to most people.

Videos are penalized or demonetized if KZbin's AI and algorithms detect certain profanity in the opening 7 seconds. So, some channels censor the opening seconds and leave the rest of the profanity. The policy has been updated, and more words allowed without penalty now, but there are plenty that Jim uses that are still potentially a violation.

You're hating on anything that AEW does and calling it boring when at least they're TRYING to offer something. The same two are defending WWE that is as stale, boring and artificial as it could be. Nothing never ends, storylines last for ages, the shows are full of filler and the wrestling is low-effort. I tried watching last RAW and in one hour all I watched is 2 lame house-show level matches with uninteresting people that would be bashed if they were promoted by AEW and tons of filler.
