3 years ago I saw this cover for the first time and it made me pick up the guitar again after 20 years. I remember thinking how cool the playing is and what a nice Stratocaster. Still one of my favorite covers, cheers!

Excellent playing. The difference between you and Jimi is that he would have built up to the climax more slowly and used effects more sparing to achieve a bigger effect. I also think nearly everyone plays Hendrix much too fast- I think this video is pretty much the top speed or even a little faster than he ever played. As soon as they start shredding licks it kills the Jimi vibe straight away; and also kills the emotion. However, you're still a highly skilled player.
