I'm no native English speaker, but I can get more than half of the jokes, I'm really satisfied with it since it's goddamn funny, but the others than I don't get are my motivation to improve my level !

I remember being thirteen, and this is no worse than the conversations we had out in the schoolyard without the influence of comedians or other racy media, just good ol' word of mouth and a healthily juvenile sense of humor.

@stnavres Then you are the exception. Children are pushed into growing up too fast these days, confronted with issues that they are not emotionally ready or equipped for. Let them be children, and enjoy that period. Adulthood comes more than quickly enough.

Putting a comma before a conjunctive when said conjunctive is used to join two independent clauses is perfectly acceptable - indeed, necessary. If you're trying to out-nazi a grammar nazi, it's usually helpful to be accurate.

I had to google "grooming" to understand the joke, THEN I realized why it was so fun that he offered to explain it to the boy backstage. In my defense, I would liek to point out that English IS in fact my second language.
@ellis089612 жыл бұрын
'Child grooming refers to actions deliberately undertaken with the aim of befriending and establishing an emotional connection with a child, to lower the child's inhibitions in preparation for sexual activity with the child, or exploitation (such as child labour-see trafficking of children).' This basically:)

Well, in that case, probably because his dad was there he got in with a guardian. Like 'R' rated movies, you have to be over 18 to see them alone, but if you're with a group, only one of them has to be over 18.
@TEHsm1th11 жыл бұрын
at 10 I had heard every word in the book, and was using them regularly, didn't know what the fuck they meant, but if it was a bad word you can bet your sweet ass I fucking used them. And thats how I became a sailor

@occultdude17 Sure I agree. Sheltering children from the realities of life is indeed harmful. As thing naturally crop up one should address them head on and not avoid life's issues. But that is not what we are talking about here. The issue here is premature exposure in inappropriate content/life issues. Things/issue that are not relevant or part of the natural maturing process. Here the kid is exposed to issues and views that are not normal for his age group.

Jimmy Carr kind of looks like a British, grown-up Jimmy Neutron.
