Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole. You have a great musical journey ahead of you. This song is about the duality of a Pisces (Tatiana is a Pisces). She uses her cleans and growls to enhance the emotion of the verse and enhance the emotion she's attempting to portray with the lyrics. Every member of this band is amazing in their own right. If you want to go live, there are so many to choose from. "Who is Gonna Be The One" (live) showcases how low Tati can go with her growls. "Perennial (live at Wacken Open Air)" is another of their lighter songs. "Judgement (&Punishment)" either the omv or one take vocal is also amazing as well.

Usual stages of 'Pisces' reactions: 1. what a beautiful voice ... 2. [the face !] ... 3. didn't expect that (optionally: WTF, is that really her ?) ... 4. be fascinated and scared at the same time ... 5. wanting more ! Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole, no hope for seeing a sunbeam again once jumped in ! Now you are ready for the next steps (no specific order): Teacher Teacher Perennial (Live @ Wacken 2019) Judgement (& Punishment) One Take Vocal Performance I speak Astronomy Who is gonna be the one (Live) Pit of Conciousness (Live in Kiev) Retrospection Sit Stay Roll Over The Prophecy ... and then all the amazing rest of them :D If you can enjoy that style of art (I'm fully aware, that is not everyone's cup of tea), then there is no bad apple on the tree at all !

Dude, Ernest... I am so happy that you're dipping into heavier stuff. I've been a subscriber for a while now for the rap/hip-hop reactions, which is one side of my musical tastes. But, the other side is metal, and I am super excited to see you expand your musical horizons. Seeing you appreciate this style, especially a female vocalist that can scream/growl, I have a request. If you want to see more amazing metal female vocalists, I would suggest checking out the band Spiritbox. They're a Canadian band, two members (singer and guitarist) were in the band I Wrestled A Bear Once, and Courtney the singer is amazing. If you decide to react to them, I would check out "Rule Of Nines" first. Once you react to them, you will want to keep reacting to all their other songs. Keep up the entertaining reactions, my dude!

Great reaction. As you are interested in lyrics more than most of reactors probably you'd be interested to know few facts about it: - it's a song about Pisces. Allegorically it's a two fishes swimming in opposite directions. More deep layer of sence - it's a song about the duality of human nature. - Tatiana (singer) is a main lyricist in this band and the author of the lyric for this song. - it's a personal song. Tatiana was born under the sign of Pisces under and she is the lyric hero actually. - Jinjer's lyrics is always on point. Depth of this song is not an exception, it's a common situation. - probably it's because of Tatiana's Literature education. - Tatiana is not a native English speaker. Her native language is Russian. It seems English is her third language.
