I'm trying to learn as well. I found out, you can use pins. To hold your material when sewing seems. You just pull the pins out, as you go. Instead of folding every few inches. Good video bro.

You should really look at buying fabric sewing clips on Amazon you can get 100 for under 10.00 , you can clip the folded hem up and just buzz through those , awesome job . Both of you.

If an industrial seems too expensive- I purchased a semi industrial straight stitch by janome- brother I think makes the most affordable at around $800, and it sews through layers of leather like butter.

what kind of thread do you use for the jeans? when I use regular thread on jean material it does not stay so I know I need something stronger.

Sorry for the late response, you can go to www.wawak.com that's where I get my supplies from and ask them if they have one for your machine. Hope this information can help with your question.

You just have to learn how to control the pressure on the pedal, it takes a little bit of time. That was one of my problems but after you spend time with her it would get easier.

You can change out the clutch motor for a servo motor. It will help you control the speed a lot more.

You can better control speed by putting a smaller pulley on your clutch motor. More torque and less speed. If you have a few extra bucks check out a servo motor. They are much more controllable and some have needle positioners. You might also want to check out how to shorten jeans and leave the original hem on. Some people like that weathered used look on bottom of jeans. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmGVfqGbbppgqZo Good luck bro
