Bravo Media sails through the French Riviera in a new season of Below Deck Mediterranean. Sandy may be navigating the “Sirocco” mega yacht again, but she brings a new level of leadership in season four. With high expectations, she has no tolerance for anything short of perfection and will take drastic measures if the crew can’t deliver. Hannah, looking to right her wrongs from last season, is hoping for smooth sailing with a strong interior crew. But will choppy waters threaten her redemption? Mila, classically trained in French culinary cuisine, becomes the first female chef in franchise history, but after a bout with food poisoning right as the first charter guests are set to arrive, she’ll have her work cut out for her. Aesha, coping with a difficult past and using humor to get through tough times, is ready to hit the high seas and get another charter under her belt. Anastasia, born in the Republic of Georgia, has a strong sense of pride in her work ethic which takes her on an unexpected journey. João is looking for a fresh start and is laser focused on being the best Bosun for the crew, but not everyone is on board. Colin, feeling homesick, quickly finds himself on the outs after trying to connect with the new deck crew. Travis after a few mishaps begins to question leadership, however, it’s his “work hard, play hard” mentality that comes into question by the rest of the crew. Jack ruffles feathers when the crew notices he’s putting more effort into pursuing a crew member than his actual job.

I respect Captain Sandy. She's very impressive. However, no one gets to tell you what your passions are. By all means ask them the question, 'Is this your passion as i'm not quite seeing it yet?' Never tell someone their own mind. That's manipulation and I don't think Sandy is the type of person to normally do that. I think if the annoyances she had werent so recent, she would have phrased that differently.

Many people are not at their most passionate, nor are they working at their top ability at the end of the season. Captain Sandy is pretty rough on Hannah and she isn’t as much on the rest of the crew, especially the guys working outside

Yeah, I never really got that Hannah was not passionate about yachting. I think that Hannah is not used to a captain that is so involved in everything, and Sandy does tend to micromanage when she is stressed out. I don't think that Hannah takes that very well, I think that they are just very different personalities. I think Sandy sees something and immediately jumps on Hannah instead of seeing what actually happened. I mean for fucks sake , they film everything. Watch the tapes ??? I think Hannah is passionate about yachting but not passionate about sandy.

she didnt tell her her passion she said she isnt showing one for that industry when she needs to be. Quite frankly i think Hannahs a drama queen and is severely overreacting here besides the episode she gets an anxiety attack on (those are very real i would never discredit or make fun of a physical or mental health issue) she overreacts all the time to the smallest thing hinting that she isnt doing her job to the fullest potential.

Captain Sandy would turn a lot of employees off with her micromanagement. It’s also TERRIBLE when she undermines or makes negative “leading” statements about her crew to the Guests on the yacht. She should watch herself back more often and find ways to adjust her leadership style to suit each individual. Everybody is different and to get the most out of employees you can’t always use the same approach.

Damn I think with a little work she could get better. Seems like Cpt. Sandy expects total perfection and that’s unrealistic. I kind of wonder if her ego isn’t playing a role here, because Hannah didn’t jump every time she yelled? She could’ve at least said next charter I need to see more dedication to the details and less to the people, instead of basically telling her to quit and move on. Just my opinion.

Captain Sandy can be extremely cruel. And she puts things on tape that she knows the world will see. Her saying that joao would not have said that about the spark plug if she wasn't a woman is bull crap. It was just three people standing having a conversation about what's wrong with the jet ski. There was nothing disrespectful about what he said or did. But for her to put out there that he's arrogant and talk to her that way because she's a female is wrong. Then to tell Hannah on tape that yawning is not her passion could have ruined and may have ruined Hannah's entire career. Nobody will probably hire Hannah because of what Captain Sandy said. What I thought at one time was that nice level-headed woman, meaning Sandy oh, now has me looking at her like a diabolical, cruel and yes arrogant woman. Let's not forget, they weren't in jail at one time in their life but she was.

I absolutely love Capt Sandy and I wish she were the only captain on this show. Sandy is the only captain that actually gives her crew opportunities to show/learn new skills. The other capt NEVER does that with his crew. He’s a stuck up jerk that in my opinion is only interested in the fame. Captain Sandy is a class act and I love her. I know Sandy doesn’t think that Hannah is happy in her job and this season she pretty much showed it...but if I were spending thousands of dollars on a charter I would want her as my chief stew....of course I wouldn’t demand what the others wanted...but I’m team Hannah. She was a bit off her game but I thought she did great.

I think it's pretty rich and condescending for Captain Sandy to say that "yachting is not your passion" considering she's been Chief Stew for 4 seasons and she spent most of the season dealing with multiple crew changes. Putting her on blast for the table decorations was unfair really. Anastasia should have been the one getting grilled about that. I feel like Sandy was never satisfied with Hannah from day one. It's a personal thing!

I loved this show at first when it was a few shows. Now, just my opinion, it's be over played, over killed, there is only so much on a yacht.....it is groundhog day. Only need one Below Deck, with the real Captain Lee and Kate. And, a limited amount of shows, so it stays fresh and your glad it's coming back on.

I have worked on a dry boat (no staff drinking) and a wet boat(drinking permitted) and I really think staff should not be aloud to drink. Pretty stewards usually have red blood young male crew chasing them and all the drama that comes with young ladies. Stuck on a restricted amount of square meteridge
