After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.

So fun fact, when Michael kicked the tree, the tree itself was not supposed to fall down. When Michael yelled “nice fucking model” he’s actually yelling at the stage director and designing all at the same time😂😂😂Tim Burton loved it so much he looked to his cameraman and said “tell me you got this on fucking film”, camera guy says “yup”, Burton kissed him on the head and said “THANK YOU GOD!” And the rest is history!

Rewatching it he's clearly looking in a different direction than when he was yelling at the Maitlands. I'm sure the crotch grab was clearly not supposed to be on camera either, but here we are. The funniest scene in the movie next to Day-O.
