I Am Athlete exist today because of the original cast. Not to take away from Marshall’s vision and drive. There were issues in the beginning with Marshall and the other host feeling silenced by Marshall and his seemingly need to control. These things happen often and sadly this one is happening publicly. I hope they all find peace and forgiveness with much success whether separate or apart.

What r u talking about? Those are your feelings. He just told us the issues bro! IAA exist today because of B's vision, period. The original cast left because once they saw the potential money involved and wanted to change the contracts because of buyer's remorse. None of that is B's fault and none of that has anything to do with B shutting them out. He had a right to "control" because he was the majority owner. Business is business at the end of the day. I see a problem. When you sit down at the inception of a business, and those people invest, they are the set shareholders. The owners. For Brandon Marshall to say once the podcast grew, and the percentages changed, that was his lacking business acumen speaking. The percentages of ownership do not change, unless each of the investors sell some of their shares. If Brandon Marshall included his wife and friends that comes out of his percentage, not Fred's. That's bad business; Toxic ideology. It feels like Brandon just tried to take over and do what he wanted within vision, regardless of what the other guys wanted. Also… As a 4th generation entrepreneur, I felt what Brandon and Joe were saying… it was spot on. But the reason neither Brandon or Joe talked about their break up situations previously, is because no matter how much they addresses the issue, it’s not going to make sense to everyone. We (the audience) are being let in on what should be a private conversation or “locker room talk” like they used to talk about. Business is messssssssy. It’s messy because you’re creating something out of nothing and hoping and praying and working hard so that it’s successful. You have people (staff) leaning on you and depending on you to be successful. You have an audience and fans, etc. It’s hella pressure. If you’ve never been in the situation, you won’t understand. You just can’t understand because building a company is not just about logic and following a plan. It does require emotion and an understanding of your “why” which is what you must always come back to.

The guys here talking about "they should be grateful" and "you won't talk to them cus I won't let you.." are just happy to be brought on to something that is already successful. But they know damn well they would feel a level of disrespect if someone who had a vision, brought them on, their presence is felt, they are now a vital part of the program, and then are told in so many words, "although we all put in the same amount, this is business, percentages change. All these other people also have to get paid" they (the new guys) would feel a way also. There was too much too fast, he was excited and wanted to do a lot, but these are grown men who invested their money into your vision, and it became something because of their personalities too, you don't switch up on ppl and then hide your hands when they question you.
