I stumbled across this trio one night at Bennett's Lane jazz club in Melbourne. How lucky was I? One of the best live shows I have ever seen. Topping it all off was Joe's mum selling CD's that table by the door. That night is one of my great musical memories. Thanks Joe, Bernard and Marcus!

Just saw this young man playing with Robin Ford and Leroy Parnell, two very seasoned pros. He ran away with the show a couple of times but each time the older guys brought it back into perspective in ways too numerous to mention. What a great show... go see Guitar Army with these guys.

I've listened to this over and over, along with the other songs recorded at the same session. I have Joe's CD, but actually prefer the live versions, mostly because of the great interaction with that amazing rhythm section. Your playing is amazing Joe, your singing is soulful, the joy you express playing this is infectious, and something nobody ever seems to mention is how masterful your use of the wah is.
