I have this same condition. Ex kick boxer. Went to sleep.one night, woke up next morning, and couldnt use my left arm. It was dead. Could use hand,. But nothing in arm. Docs couldnt find out what was wrong. Took 13 months. Lost 85% muscle mass. After c3,c4,c5 neck surgery,. And injections,.. was able to use arm again. 4 years latter, and arm is still only about half the size of right arm. But thank God i can use it now.

Caber Cabe Actually, you are completely wrong. My mother got stem cell therapy, and the only way to get stem cell therapy in America is through Federally funded healthcare research programs, hence why she had to go to Mexico. Surprisingly as well, America has a higher death rate and failure rate than Mexico and is 20x the price!

My father and I both have serious back and neck issues. My dad more so then me. Wrestled since he was 5 until senior year of high school and has three Disks in his lower back that had to be fused. I wrestled almost as long but stop my junior year but then became a welder who is constantly looking down or up at weird angles at what I’m welding and have been having neck problems in the last few years and have had a nerve pinch in my lower back at the same place as my fathers twice We were both told the back issues are due to wrestling and my neck situation is due to having my neck cocked in weird ass positions for long periods of time. Don’t get me wrong I loved wrestling but would I put my child into at 6 like myself. Probably not. I will most likely wait until a later age when his or her muscles are more developed and strengthened enough to support some of the contortions you enevitably get yourself into

Bas is correct. When you have a full fusion it puts pressure on the discs above and below and you will inevitably have issues with those as well, and on and on until you end up with a totally fucked spine. Best to try a micro-discectomy first if it's an option.

I was at a local event a few years ago and as a “warm-up” for the MMA fights, we did some quick 2 minute submission-only rounds. I ended up in a really deep RNC against a really good wrestler, and as I tapped, the guy yanked on my neck. Pins and needles all the way from my neck to my toes and the biggest fright of my life and it hurt for weeks afterwards. I got matched up with him after the subs-only and kicked the fuck out of his leading knee. He couldn’t walk unassisted. He should have thought about that before he tried to break my neck. I don’t care if any of that offends any of you snowflakes.
