Theo is alot more keyed in than his comedy suggests. As an Australian I spent some time in Baton Rouge and despite the power needed for a good crayfish n corn cookup they typically are much more ready for off-grid living than most people are. My guess is he has a decent network of friends & possibly his own property in place. As if either he or Joe would mention having a bunker or plan-b on a podcast.

You are correct. I’m born and raised in Louisiana, my uncle has owned a seafood shop for 40+ years in Baton Rouge. Theo’s originally from Covington which is about 2 hours away. I was raised in New Orleans, but hunted and learned the country way of living every summer at my uncle’s camp in the neighboring state of Mississippi. Taught me how clean/gut a deer, read tracks, identify snakes, fishing, etc etc etc. I had the the best of both worlds growing up. I’m grateful..learned a lot.

I had re-occurring dreams growing up, elementary school - now rarely, where society was basically wiped out and people were actually living near malls, and gave me trouble. The gangs and such took over while people who knew how to survive were in the woods or away from cities.
