Discovered Pauls work about a month ago and im completely hooked. Picked up the 2 collections and The Beast And The Magic Sword and im loving his work so far. Such entertaining gems. Reminds me of the work of Jean Rollin they're so unique and have such a great old school spooky weird vibe to em.

I love Paul Naschy films. Every time one of these would come up on the Saturday afternoon, late nite or Sunday morning movie show on TV when I was a kid, I'd catch it.

I love his movies and the Spanish Night of the Seagulls Trilogy. I got to tour some old Templar castles, and that was really cool❤

Honestly, if I could pick one guy to sit around and listen talk about movies for a year straight it would be Landis. He clearly loves this stuff.

Wow, nice clip. Now I want to see the rest of the film it's taken from. I've never really been a huge fan of Naschy's films, but seeing the scenes shown in this video in high quality makes me want to watch them again. The only copies I've ever been able to find of his work have been of very low quality, either cheap DVDs from budget stores, or uploads on KZbin. And I'm pretty sure that most of what I've seen has been cut to the bone in terms of the nudity and gore. His film "Horror Rises From the Tomb", especially, is a notoriously butchered piece. Now I feel like I've got a new mission- to find high quality, uncensored copies of his films. Thanks for posting this.

The only Naschy horror I ever saw and love was Mark of the Wolfman. I first saw that film as a kid and I find it excellent to this day! It holds up after fifty years

Jacinto Molina. Paul Naschy was his screen name. If you read the credits of his films you can see how much of the production process he did himself under his own name. Definitely an "auteur".

Paul Naschy was THE man .. Plus, the best, hottest actresses ever - Barbara Capell, Julia Saly, Patty Shepard, Silvia Aguilar, Helga Line, Cristina Suriani, Diana Lorys, Caroline Munro and RIP to the beautiful Azucena Hernández - Paul knew how to cast a film

I just love Naschy's films. Seen a bunch. But not all. Would give an arm away to watch "Nights of the Wolfman", but since literally *nobody* ever watched it, i guess that's asking for a bit too much exclusivity. Naschy's carreer is a matter of pride to me since we're "close blood" (i'm portuguese) and anything *outside* the Hollywood circles is usually seen as shit. But his movies were great.

Mark of the Wolfman is mabey one of the best European horror films! It's a better film than the other famous European Werewolf film Curse of the Werewolf )but don't get me wrong I like that film also. (that one is also set in Spain interestingly enough).

For those of us who enjoyed Paul’s films prior to every KZbin millennial reviewer posting a video. Paul is schlock but it isn’t meant to be. Paul took this seriously under a repressive Fascist regime. And did it his way.

During my childhood in small town near Barcelona in the 60s and 70s I watched ALL the Paul Naschy-Jacinto Molina movies, and the only thing that inspired me was deadly boredom (except for the spicy scenes, of course). Fortunately I've always been a fan of classic horror and fantasy movies, but Naschy isn't one of my favorites.
