This has been pretty heavily edited. I wonder what they missed out - it seemed to go from very nice to not very nice in a flash...

I feel like he did say something that made them change their tone. At 1:26 they ask him to basically be nice and he refused. I'm sure he made a comment and I bet the yellow sweater lady didn't like it so they kicked them out.

And who do we still hear about? Not that old trout, Rosanne whats-her-name. But we still see Johnny on a semi regular/when he can be arsed, basis.

Sue Mead lol, I was just thinking the same thing. Lydon has more significance in the long run. I watched Roseanne's TV show at the time, but I don't think I ever watched this talk show. And from the looks of who was running it, I'm glad I didn't.

***** Do you remember how she sort of burst onto the scene? Everyone acted like it was so daring having a family of under-achievers, unattractive looking children and a crochet rug on the couch was so new and outrageous. With the exception of the crochet rug, the Simpsons were already doing it. Man, she was just awful, and the story lines were crap. Like 'Happy Days' but with even uglier looking people in it.

Before her, there was Married: With Children which she kind of copied, although the comedy wasn't as broad. Roseanne was funny the first season or two then it got really lame.

Just to put my two pennies worth in. I think Jon is the greatest bloke in the media today. If you think he was out to shock even when he was in the pistols go back and look. All he ever was and ever claimed to be is honest. He says what he really thinks and feels and so he should. Pity more folks weren't like that, what a better world it would be.

I think he is quite right to be pissed off at being told to stop filming when he had an agreement. Some people like that Barr woman always think they can do wth they like. And I guess she did - but at least Lydon got the last word.

What is so funny here is the way Lydon is given the bums rush (as we call it in the UK), the way he is unceremoniously bundled away, and his sudden realization that he is nowhere near as important as he thought he was!
@AVportau7 жыл бұрын
+Shelley Lyme ... even funnier is reading the comments by nobodies like you who bother to make your stupid statements on how unimportant John Lydon is... yet you thought him important enough to comment several times here?... and Johnny Rotten will be remembered long after most useless TV celebrities like Roseanne piglet what's her name... after all, it's been near 40 years since the Sex Pistols yet their music is still as recognised as ever... meanwhile as others have asked "who are you Shelley?"... yep, you're just a confused self opinionated nobody eh? love your nothing YT channel too.

Floors me what goes through the heads of these pretentious TV people. To have John Lydon - rocks notorious 'bad singer' to appear with Rosanne, who sang badly at a baseball game. Johnny did it to hit a nerve with people, to air his anger, to make people disgusted and fearful of his affronting. Rosanne did it to be 'funny'. And she and her people are going to tell Johnny how to behave, and whats off limits to the 'super secret little comedy show'? Johnny and his people are still rocking today. And Rosanne and her people....? All alone with a quiet phone and empty tubs of Haagen Daaz no doubt. Hope that ounce of power felt good for them back in the day, because they will NEVER get it back. Johnny will forever have it, and for damn good reason!
