For me, celtics walk out is bad but they never played dirty like trying take someones life. Look at what bad boys did to win those 2 championship, they tried to kill the other team. That is bad. The thing that pisses me off, is that so many people talk about the Celtics walking off. It wasn’t done for the same reason. It was for safety reasons and not poor sportsmanship. The diff between the Celtics walking off and the Pistons is that Boston disliked the style of play of Detroit. Despite words to the contrary, Detroit didn't just hard-foul ppl, they tried to take your head off or undercut your legs. watch the tapes! Also, what happened between the Celtics and the Pistons is different that the Bulls-Pistons. EVERY TIME that the Bulls lost to Detroit in the post season, the Bulls ALL waited and shook hands with the Pistons, despite all the hard-fouling! Detroit should have given the Bulls the same courtesy that Chicago gave Detroit, If Detroit had beaten Boston, then I could understand and support Detroit for similar treatment to Boston that Boston gave Detroit!

Rodman said that if Bird was black he’d be a regular player and Thomas co-signed it. At that time, Bird was the best player in the league.
