Just my opinion, but I think overpopulation is a brain child of the "climate change" narrative. It's true that we try to pack way too many people in too small an area, but the Earth itself is not over populated. There is so much uninhabited land, poor and non-use/managment of resources, and we are always looking at the problem from what we see in overcrowded areas under the management of corrupt people. We are over-run by basic stupidity & selfishness, then on top of that, we are ruled by those who hate humanity and want the Planet for themselves alone, so they are unwilling to use solutions that would benefit everyone. They see mankind as being like themselves - unruly, unmanageable and uncompromising, so in that context the unmanageable numbers of people are "over populated' because they can't control them, and most are under rogue &/or selfish governments like China, North Korea & Russia, who, like India, don't give a hoot about their climate change agenda. In fact, almost none of the non-white nations care about any claims of climate catastrophe.

I was once a person who would always follow the political process and current politics. For about 10 to 15 years now my belief has been challenged in any political party. It becomes obvious that all of them have no interest whatsoever in any of the important issues that affects the average family. Policies are now about making the rich richer. I can’t remember the last time any current government made a change for the benefit of the people who actually pay their wages. Taxes increase, infrastructure gets worse, education is terrible and governments make shocking decisions. I have no trust in government from any level. 😮

It's not the politicians. The electorate DEMAND that they are lied to. They do not vote for politicians who tell the truth. Many countries have been living beyond their means (ie gov't expenditure exceeds income) for over a decade. Any political party that said 'We need to do less. We will offer fewer services, a slimmer health service, no more free-this and free -that' would be wiped out. So far the only electorate which has 'seen the light' is Argentina.

Now I have houses, money, sun all year where the surrounding countries appreciated redbrick BSc, world-beating MSc and wide experience, rewarded in like manner. Yes, move if you can the writing is on the wall; current and impending times will leave an indelible and irreversible decline on your futures.

@@adoremus4014 Yes, but there are many foreigners in British hospitals being treated at huge expense, and when the NHS managers try to get them to pay the bills, they say they can't afford it! Many of them don't have any money at all. But we can't just stop treating them, because that would be against their human rights. So in reality many of them are getting it for free. There was a programme about this on BBC radio about 5 years ago. (Surprised they broadcast it to be honest).

@@ajs41 The rules changed in October 2017. Some countries have reciprocal healthcare agreements with the UK so the treatment is free. But non-urgent treatment now requires signing a 'Undertaking to Pay', otherwise they are denied treatment until they can pay. If the treatment is urgent, legally the NHS has to offer it free of charge if they cannot pay.

The greatest evolution of the climate change religion here in Australia has been and continues to be driven by local governments (public service). This ideology has taken the place of traditional western religions within our communities where there may have been a vacuum of common traditional community purpose. It is understandable then that a ‘new’ activism, one which on face value requires no single adherence to a religion or anything other than ‘a common cause’ should emerge.

Some points you make are irrelevant. For instance, population density. Australia is basically an archipelago of dense urbanisation, where 99% of land is a desert devoid of humans. It might as well be an ocean in demographic terms. More than 75% of people live in the biggest ten cities. There isn't really muchnof a rural or semi rural Australia, like that can be found in Europe. If you look at the habitable parts (where people are able to live, because there is water) of Australia, they are much closer to those of Europe. Also, immigration to Australia accounts for most of the difference in mean age between the two continents.

I qualified as a nurse in 1977. Working 43 yrs in healthcare mostly in emergency care but i did community and ward work. During that time i became really good at assessing people. What i found without exception was the most selfish patients and sometimes staff were those that never had children. I think its common knowledge in healthcare. So not having children does impact on our society in more ways than them just being tax payers. But Konstantin is right my son and his finance want children but housing and child care isnt affordable . Hopefully it will change for them but none of us are confident it will. Ive had 3 children i worked i studied and run a home during this time. You dont get Xmas off necessarily in healthcare. My children sre resilient and hardworking wonderful human beings now with their own families. Stop the victimhood

Thanks again gents! I guess I'm old school now, but what a great approach you have to discussing the issues that matter. A listener can listen, learn and formulate, or begin to forrmulate an opinion. So difficult to get informative media discussion nowadays that's not clouded by emotion or agenda. The government should support families - it doesn't, and neither do the feministic impositions on family. A lot of young men (at least and maybe young women perhaps) nowadays are reluctant to embark on these relationships that end in acrimonious splits. Current Australian family laws don't encourage long term relationships - too much at risk. I don't mind saying either (at risk of being shouted down by someone), feminisim tends to dimish the role of males in parenting - speaking about maturing, postive male role models are essential for good healthy child development. There are many good fathers (male parents) out there that don't fit the feminist mold, but do a great job! Feminism undermines procreation and the legitmacy of family.

The cost of child care in the UK for one pre-school child is between £800 & £1000+ per calendar month. Both parents have to work to have an acceptable standard of living or become part of the non-working community that draws from the welfare state. Stay at home Mum's, or Dad's, who used to bring up the kids are a thing of the past unless you're very wealthy. Simply put, it's very expensive having children.

I have immense respect for John, who is definitely one of the good guys, but his assertion that Russia has lost 500.000 men is almost certainly false. The attrition rate is 10 to 1 on average, so if true would mean Ukrainian losses exceed 5 million - really? The best estimate from Douglas Macgregor ( the real expert, not given to Hyperbole ) is 550,000 Ukrainian dead and over One Million wounded. Russian losses, although heavy, are roughly one tenth of that. How can they both be duped by such a massive propaganda lie.........

All round gerat conversation, as it usually is with Konstantin, just one caveat about the Ukraine negotiation point, the deal and concessions made have to be ones that Ukraine agrees to, the negotiations can’t be about Ukraine without Ukraine and although I fully agree that the current administration isn’t doing nearly enough, given Trumps track record with Ukraine and his supporter base I can’t imagine he would be particularly motivated to either get a good deal for Ukraine or to provide the “support with everything” option

I too, think it is so important to sell the idea of family and children to young people- these are the things that give life meaning. Amen. The last 2 minutes of his speech were the highlight of my youtubé experience in last few years. What a remarkable guy that is. The interviewer did a good job too, you gave enough space to express himself of this remarkable guy, even though he, the interviewer, led the interview through well pointed questions, to discuss the relevant topics he thought are worth talking about. I really enjoyed it, and truely agree to the answers he gave, which is really not the case with many others interviews I saw.

I often compared massmigration with what is John Maynard Keynes contribution to macro economics "Keynesianism". Large funds from taxmoney funneled into infrastructure projects. Now the same money goes to migrants and infrastructure is neglected and rewards are infinitsmal. It spells catastrophy

He cleans the house, goes great in school, has a job, and helps with his younger brothers. All of my boys are not only educating but willing to work. It is a matter of a father be present to discipline them. All the "data" and common sense of any parent know this. Most of the farms have two parents many in the city do not.

I think it’s important to note that I think the breakdown of community and the family structure has led to therapy being such a successful industry. I absolutely agree there is certain therapy that is needed and can be a beneficial tool. But if I think about a lot of the therapies it’s been advertised at the moment it’s basically a a friend to vent your worries too. Before you would’ve felt close to your parents and spoke to them about how to become a better person in life and don’t get me wrong all the people sometimes still give questionable advice especially around parenting but we used to have large communities with big support networks so there was always someone in your village or area who you knew was good at something who you could speak to

I have to say, I find it annoying to hear people like Kisin claim that only people who've had children are really enlightened or have a stake in society. I have immense respect for people who have children, but those of us who don't have children in our lives be it through friends, family members or people we know. It's ignorant to suggest that people who aren't parents do not understand the importance of children or of family, I'm happy for him that he's recently become a father, it's a shame he doesn't show the same compassion for the parents of children in Gaza.

As a French regular visitor to Britain for the last 40+ years, I've always found Britain much poorer and with a much older infrastructure than France. Further the cost of accommodation and transport has always been skyhigh. To be fair, I also think lower class people pay far less tax than in France

As a former resident of France I disagree vehemently with your statement. People are taxed to the hilt in France, your infrastructure isn't that good, bus services are non existent outside of Paris, your only good roads are very expensive TOLL roads . I never felt that France was richer than UK, just more socialist generally.

One of the biggest problems in the UK is housing costs, caused by lack of supply/over demand. Part of the solution will be to build a lot more accommodation. This would bring house prices down. Unfortunately, many people on the housing ladder see their homes/rental properties as investments and will not want the house prices to drop - these owners will include civil servants and politicians. So they will talk about building more housing but will not build enough for supply to exceed demand, thus keeping housing costs up. High housing costs increase living costs which push workers to demand higher wages which also increases living costs, reduces international competitiveness and pushes up the average market price of accommodation, i.e. house prices, making it even more difficult to find a job with a liveable wage. Building enough homes is possible but not without cost for many. So even if immigration was stopped overnight, future generations will have to keep paying - at least until the boomers all depart their homes.

Everyone serious will be voting for Harris, including many former members of his cabinet that have come out and said Trump must not be elected for a second term. Imagine your own cabinet revolting against you.

How will you be a better parent with less resources…. while other parents have more… so relatively your child won’t be able to compete ( multiple languages, music lessons, speech lessons, tutoring, you get the point). Being a parent is like being an employee. Of course there is the moral responsibility, but there is also of the responsibility of not letting Timmy eat whatever he wants when he is young so he has good self regulation patterns.

The UK is growing an indigent ethnic English underclass that underperforms immigrants and ethnics. The UK desperately needs more talented immigrants to avoid economic collapse. And to persuade them to live in the UK long term versus just pass through, which too many UK immigrants do. The UK also desperately needs to massively improve K-12 education. There is a lot of backlash, resentment and jealousy inside the UK against talented immigrants and ethnics. 67 of the UK's 146 billionaires are immigrants. If current trends continue it is probably that the overwhelming vast majority of UK billionaires, immigrants, elites, start up co-founders, start up founding team members, angel investors, VCs, private equity, asset managers, I Bankers, consultants, senior corporate executives, scientists, inventors, technologists, top academics are likely to be immigrants, children of immigrants, grandchildren of immigrants and ethnics. It would help if Constantine would address these elephants in the room head on; and discuss the real world trade offs the UK people face.

We don’t know wether the chicken or the egg came first. Some say the native population wasn’t prioritized as far back as when the wind rush generation poured in. Some say that natives didn’t want to do menial jobs that would later lead to progression (doing 10 lb dumbbells, then 20 lbs, sadly native wanted 20 lbs at the start). Either way development will be made, but at whose expense and whose profit.
