I'm at loss for words and heartbroken about the death of someone I have never met. I feel so bad for the brother's whole family. It is a tragedy for any family to lose two of their members in such an unexpected an horrific manner. It makes you question what is important in life.

We live in Montreal and my dad became a devoted Calgary Flames fan somewhere around 1982 , after a 7-4 win in Montreal and Quebec by the same score 3 days later...my heartbroken dad told me that J. Gaudreau should be remembered for his hands , puck control at the same level of Kent Nilsson and Sergei Makarov...😢rip

This is so damn sad. I'm a VGK fan but I'm a fan of the game and I saw what a talent he was when he played here in Vegas. Honestly, hockey really doesn't matter to me on a day like this as it seems like he was a bigger star off the ice than he was on it. I still don’t want to believe it. I’ve had my stick in the window for Johnny and Matty since Friday morning, and feel bad about taking it out if the window today. As a hockey mom, I know what his mom invested in getting both those boys on the ice. It’s a level of fierce dedication I’ve never seen outside the hockey community.
