No matter how many times I see it, the trope of a not-quite altruistic person caught up and doing 'heroic' things in the pursuit of money, is great, can't wait to see Jude and the kids and their dealings

Really enjoying how this is going so far. I liked Acolyte for what it was, but Skeleton Crew grabbed me immediately. Looking forward to your ep3 reaction/review

I haven’t fallen in love with a droid this hard, this fast, since K-2SO. He actually looks like an early model of that droid model but HIGHLY customized for fighting dirty. And I also love that he has a peg leg.

As that kid growing up in the 80’s, this has absolutely been an amazing experience thus far! It completely brings me back to those good ol’Amblin days! Watts and Co. seem to have gotten the assignment in terms of finding the innocence of the “Star Wars” universe. Keeping it simple with a pirate space adventure! I hope they can stick the landing…! 🤠👍🏻

Aside from wishing episodes were a minimum of 40-45 minutes with these SW shows, I really enjoyed seeing the Star Port and the interesting aliens! SM33 is already proving to be invaluable to the team (especially in a fight), and I'm looking forward to learning more about Jude's character!

I'm this particular instance, i don't think they were out running the adults, like Leia did. I think Port Borgo is just so crowded, they were able to get through smaller gaps faster. That's how i took it anyway.

For sure. The droid is already named Smee, only has one eye and a peg leg. That rat is totally his version of a parrot.

I think I have a theory that Jude laws character might be Obi wan kenobi’s brother or one of the lost Jedi during the time 20 were missing when dooku went missing

Why must everyone in such a vast universe be related?
@jollyrayda9 күн бұрын
Not every force user is a Jedi... (though probably is on a kiddie show) I was a kid in the 80's - and I _detested_ all those 80's kids adventure films. So this show ain't for me, it screams 80's influence and Disney Kids, enough to make my skin crawl. For those who dig it, I hope y'all enjoy the series.

Hyperspace lanes, especially in Outer regions, can have the knowledge of them lost, or in this case, probably hidden, similar to how the cloning world was "lost" to the Jedi Archives in the prequels. Fern's mother talks about the "Republic", not the "New Republic", which could span anytime from the Pre-Imperial time (Amidala/Anakin), to "High Republic" (100+ years) or older. Her outfit, and the ones on his toy figures seem to suggest "High Republic" or older. At Attan might be a banking guild world, or a cartel world, that is/was used to exchange monetary types, off the books. The wall fresco in Fern's house might be of the original founding settlers, whom they have descended from, and who form the work force that keeps all the accounts running.

Is there a connection to Andor ?
@richardyoung34629 күн бұрын
SM-33 mentions Aldhani when he lists his know worlds with an A (the Imperial payroll planet they rob in Andor), but his knowledge sounds old, older than the Imperial era and maybe even the end of the Republic (think High Republic possibly, 100+ years ago).
