@@nicomoist5336 If by 'btw true' you mean you do look like your grandparents, I'm not saying that isn't possible. What I meant for this case is that their grandparents would also have the dominant traits of brown hair and eyes. If you have 8 relatives, and all of them have brown hair, brown eyes, and a peachy skin tone while you have blonde hair, green eyes and a more ochre-y skin tone, it's certainly possible you have a bunch of recessive traits, but it's more plausible (especially in this case) that you were born to a different couple.

Yaro Silverstone I've never met anyone with a family where everyone had the same eye color, both parents and all their parents included. It was a small town, so there’s probably not a lot of racial diversity. Most white babies are born with blonde hair and only get darker later, so the nurses could have easily matched the babies eyes to the parents eye color. Not good enough to give everyone their biological baby, but close enough that nobody asks questions.

Ok I think (I THINK) this is what happened in this story: The girl got birthed by her biological mother (obviously) and so was all the other babies, and it all happened in the same day. There were 7 girls, and 10 boys in total. But then after that, there was suddenly an earthquake, and in the midst of the chaos the babies got mixed. Like, jumbled up. Instead of telling the parents, the hospital was like "nah, ain't gonna tell" and gave them random babies/baby, and the parents happily live with their babies without knowing about the accident for several years. But then after that the parents still found out, but by the time they did they already had an emotional bond with their current babies. So at the end they were like "let's just forget this ever happened" and went back to living their respective lives. BOOM BOOM FAST FORWARD TO WHEN EVERYONE IS OLD ENOUGH TO PAY TAXES, the brother met this girl and they talked. Eventually they found out that both them and the brother's sister(idk why the sister is pulled within this but ok) is born in the same day, in the same hospital, and the brother put his detective cap on and started investigating, in which he got the truth from online documents, which was supposed to be a secret but like I guess the brother knows his stuff lol. The brother confronted his parents, they let him in on the truth, the brother suddenly felt the need to be heroic and said "Imma tell every sibling about it because I have some of their info (from the documents) and I can" so he did. When he found the main character (who simped waaaay too hard on him btw) he already found 6 of the girls (one of them including her), and they didn't tell us about the boys so they are irrelevant. All the girls before her already took the DNA test, and after she took hers, it is confirmed that she is in fact not her current parents' daughter, and so is all the other girls. So, the last girl is the real biological daughter of her parents, while her biological parents are that other girl's parents. Basically, the other girls have already found their real parents, and it's just these two (the main protag and the other girl) left. Either both swapped with each other, or they never actually swapped, and their parents have always been their biological parents If you still don't get it then Welp, it's complicated so ye Anyways, the girl and the boy started investigating, and then 3 years later they found them... Dead. The girl, and her parents, dead. So yeah, pretty sad, but yeah And then that's it, this was such a confusing story, but I still love the hell out of them Edit: why did I say I love them??? What I don't remember writing that line last night???? Anyways forget about the "I love the hell out of them" thing, I must've hit myself in the head

Story ends in a super unsatisfactory way.... Me: So, that “brother” for sure isn’t related to her and her earlier comments about him being hot isn’t weird at all

In a free-for-all swap of 10 baby girls, there's only a 1% chance (10% of 10%) that these two girls would be end up with each others' parents. This girl should play the lottery.
