Interesting tutorial, although At 3:55 you say there's no way to add another power window to this node, however you can and if you're looking for another window you can draw just click the +curve image. You could also add a shape and then go into options and click convert to bezier to manipulate the shape from there.

You can make two windows without the parallel node. You just the click "poly window" icon above where you select, and it generates a second poly window without any additional nodes. Both methods work, but I'm just pointing out that there are other ways

Hey... Not bad only if you reaaaally want to stick to Resolve itself (and even in Resolve, objet removal or patch or layer techniques would do the trick). So I won't bother you with Mocha remove tab or Fusion 2000 options to do this (just in the Resolve previous tab ;) ) Aside, it's alpha outPUT man, not "outpoint" as I might have heard ;). And yes, you can add power windows on the same node, just click the right "+" icon above in the same panel by choosing the right curve you want. Thx for your inputs, one never stops learning in these apps

Josh, you are a great teacher. That is rare. Most great practitioners are terrible at teaching. Anyway, please do a video on mask tracking. I have a blown out window in a scene that my color correction on a moving subject just doesn't work on. He has to cross that window in the scene and it sucks. There are actually two separate lighting sources that I can't balance. One of them is a window that is 5600 and the other is an interior practical that is really bright, but still around 4000. I am shooting on RED Monstro and could probably have shot dual ISO but I screwed it up. I wanted to enter this short video into one of the bored at home contests but it sucks due to this problem. Help!

Josh, if you make a change and you don’t see the effect of the change in your timeline, it’s not because the computer is slow. What’s happening is your timeline is looking at the old rendered cache files. Just very simply delete the cache and the timeline will now reflect the changes.

Hello I'm new editing vide and whenever I use the pen tool and finish with the selection , then the background goes to a gray screen and I can only see whatever I have selected and the mask doesnt work ...
