Joy will be in less pain now that she’s had the surgery. I’m a retired orthopedic nurse. I’ve seen many elderly patients do well after surgery so catch your thoughts if you find yourself in worry. I think journaling helps a lot. I’m thinking of you every day. Also, it’s common for elderly patients to get confused post-op. That will clear.

Oh I'm glad they were able to do the surgery sooner. Yes it will be nice for 3:33 the Physical therapist to go to her. Sending prayers 🙏 for all of you. 🎉flowers for Joy tell her we love her. Thanks for the update...When I saw that Joy had fallen, My heart sank....What started both my parents downhill path was a fall. There were no broken bones in my parents situation. Tracey I'm just telling you what happened and how it set things in motion....I love both you and Joy and I hope things will be better for you and Joy...I know both of you are strong and will get through this. Prayers for Joy ❤ I know her initial confusion was more than likely due to the anesthesia and meds. However, i do want to make you aware that should it continue, have them check for a uti. It's extremely common, especially in older people, after being catheterized. It's just something I've experienced, having been in the medical field for so long 😊 Prayers and well wishes for both Joy and yourself ❤

Don’t go by the cover and don’t go by the name of the book as I don’t think either represent the substance of the book. It’s absolutely fascinating and I know Joy would love it.

I saw Joy on a recent video of yours, she looks and acts at least 10 years younger than her chronicle age, so she should be OK. The healing process is amazing, it just takes time as I found out after my own trip and fall that fractured my arm that has healed in 6 months. Best wishes for a full recovery.

Likely, the hospital will release her to rehab. Tracey can choose a facility based on insurance. Hospital social worker should coordinate/meet with Tracey. They can assist with questions 👍 my mother's insurance covered 21-days but she had to show improvement

Don't be surprised her memory changes due to anesthesia. Hope all goes well 💜 Trying to get my mother to walk was futile (to help her balance, plus walking helps memory and bone health). One's pace of walking indicates brain health Not too young to walk walk walk
