Wow, great analisys from that short gameplay footage. You've see a lot of details. Finally we discovered this "secret hideout" thing, I did't noticed that until your video. Also, I still curious about that "ever darkness". Make more videos like this, you're very perceptive to see all these details and make dedutions through gameplay mechanics and translations from original video.

Just played my first few hours since the release tonight and this is my first Atelier game. I’ve barely scratched the surface of the game apparently after watching this video which has me excited. This video actually helped me understand quite a bit since I was confused on synthesis and battle mechanics. It would be awesome if you did like a quick guide now that the game is out!

Ryza is the most hyped Atelier in a long time. In fact I haven't seen any Atelier sparking the interest of people who were not already into the series before. Very excited. :) However... it's funny they are still using the same NPC travelling merchant models. Also, switching gathering gear is not new, in Firis one already switched between pickaxe and staff for hitting objects.

Thank you so much for covering everything from that Ryza stream. The game is sounding great and i'm glad they got rid of the dates, tbh. I like the idea of just taking my time and enjoying the game without worrying too much.

I hope you will be able to learn recepies by gathering. The new style of learning from a book after you've explored places to unlock felt in beginning like ok it's cute. But then going back forth it didn't feel rewarding when playing the game. I got motivated from the earlier releases Sophies book/Firis that you learn from gathering.

@siekensou775 жыл бұрын
so you missed a lot of the battle stuff. characters you do not currently control will be acting on their own as AI. AI party members will not just act on their own but can also perform various followup actions based on what you do. a player turn action seems to cost 10 AP. skills cost AP while items cost CC AI party members will give you requests known as Action Orders during the fight. By Fulfilling each action order, you will gain 2 AP and the corresponding ally will perform an Order Skill. There's multiple ways to collect AP: Standard Attack: 1 per hit (this may not require AP) Fulfill Action Order: 2ap per order (in this video, both lent and tao wanted the same thing so clearing this once actually fulfilled for both of them) Use a core item: 2ap Break an enemy: 5ap Which also brings me to the Break Gauge.. this will likely be a gauge to let you know when your character is temporarily incapacitated during the fight. much like Guard gauges in fighting games. Additionally, the Tactics gauge seems to unlock various powerups for your skills according to level. (these effects might have to be earned external to battle before they can be used during battle)
