Not my greatest work but here’s me jumping my car with a noco boost. Great little thing it is too.

Great little package the GB40. Got one in my car and another in my boat. Won't leave home without it. :)

Due to a problem in my wiring of the pickup truck it will randomly send power to some place and my battery will die.. it happens enough that it really is a big inconvenience.. but not so much I'm going to spend thousands so somebody can troubleshoot the energy sucking vampire in this truck... But the fact is the full size pickup truck 5.7 V8 I fully charged this battery pack and I am on the 13 start with it at 3 months on one single charge.. I should also mention I've charged to my cell phone twice from zero completely dead to 100%.. these things are badass..

I know it can do 5 to 6 cars before needing to be charge .. great little battery pack for the junk yard to test cars that don’t turn on

You don’t even let it crank :/ as soon as it’s about to crank you switch it off

I bought one yesterday. When I connect the clamps properly to the battery of my car CRV 2010, the red solid light is illuminated. I made sure that the positions of clamps are correct, but It is stated that it needs to reverse polarity. Do you why? Please help me if you know how to fix it. Thanks.

I’ve got the GB40 today to jumpstart my sister’s car due to flat battery. Started first time!! What is the engine size on your Land Rover discovery?
@MadMikeWorthington2 жыл бұрын
It was the 2.5tdi engine mate

Ideally you connect positive first.

Fair point, doesn’t matter as much as when jumping from a live battery though

@@MadMikeWorthington the idea is to prevent an accidental short circuit. Connecting +12v first makes it impossible for that to happen.

Any idea how long it’ll hold the charge of it’s not used? Just wondering if it’ll lose its charge after couple months.
@rizzyy1002 жыл бұрын
Manufacturer says 12 months

Yeah I’ve had it in my boot for months and it’s not lost any charge

There's loads of videos and reviews out there that tend to say it's over priced kack. The consumer market is a mine field.

Whats the minimum battery % required to jumpstart a vehicle
@rizzyy1002 жыл бұрын
I had one completely dead.. I plugged it in at a gas station to charge and let it charge for about 20 minutes why I finished up a texting conversation with a buddy took it out there and jumped my truck.. so when you consider that it takes a good four or five hours to charge these things and I let it charge for 20 minutes.. what's that about 15% battery.. yeah so I was able to jump a full size truck with a 5.7 l with anywhere between 10 to 15% battery charge

This is one of the sloppiest vids I’ve posted, I only put it up to show a friend that the GB40 could handle the 2.5tdi engine. Happy to explain what I’m doing in vid if you want though?
