OFFICIAL UNIVERSAL WRITE UP ON JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION
"The epic conclusion of the Jurassic era. Watch the trailer for #JurassicWorldDominion
This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe.
From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live-and hunt-alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
Jurassic World Dominion, from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, propels the more than $5 billion franchise into daring, uncharted territory, featuring never-seen dinosaurs, breakneck action and astonishing new visual effects.
The film features new cast members DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari) and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). The film’s returning cast includes BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè.
Jurassic World Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who steered 2015’s Jurassic World to a record-shattering $1.7 billion global box office. The screenplay is by Emily Carmichael (Battle at Big Rock) & Colin Trevorrow from a story by Derek Connolly (Jurassic World) & Trevorrow, based on characters created by Michael Crichton. Jurassic World Dominion is produced by acclaimed franchise producers Frank Marshall p.g.a. and Patrick Crowley p.g.a. and is executive produced by legendary, Oscar®-winning franchise creator Steven Spielberg, Alexandra Derbyshire and Colin Trevorrow.
Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment present, in association with Perfect World Pictures, a Colin Trevorrow film. jurassicworld.com "

I’m not sure about anyone else but I hate that no one calls Maisie out for letting all the dinosaurs out in the last film. She basically killed a ton of innocent people by doing that. Yet no one mentions that.

Agreed but who was an awful addition to Fallen kingdom as a bratty little clone kid who stupidly let out a bunch of dinosaurs into the world. She comes back into this film as someone I actually cared about. Held away for her own safety is such a real world feel that the actress pull off so well and her arch from that awful kid in the last movie to being low key a badass is just awesome in my opinion

You're forgetting one big piece to this argument.... No one knows the clone girl, therefore who would call her out, Doctor Wang realized how big of a dumbass he is, Claire and Owen essentially kidnapped and adopted her as one of their own, plus when the dinosaurs were released, no one noticed her

Why it's not all her fault most of these dinos are all over the world is because different people and organizations are making more Dinosaurs and breeding, but yeah it was odd that they didn't mention it.

The dinosaur scenes like the Quetzalcoatlas or the pyroraptor or the dimetrodon or therezinosaurus or giga or text were awesome. The problem was the movie focused way too much on giant bugs that nobody cares about
@elementscythe4383

I honestly think they should’ve just made the movie like this: - dinosaurs have escaped and in the world but initially people aren’t too worried because they can’t breed and would all go extinct within a generation -however life finds a way as we see in the trailer and suddenly they can breed(haven’t seen the movie not sure how this works) -so then this divides people, some people think we should allow dinosaurs to live with the ecosystem whereas others and particularly govts want to eradicate them all for the safety of the people -So the movie is about our 2 groups of heroes who potentially agree that they can establish a reserve or something for the dinosaurs maybe a middle ground to allow them to exist and keep humanity safe -then if you wanted to introduce some big bad Dino hybrid have the govts(maybe the UN or something) convince Dr Wu to create a hybrid that is designed to attack and hunt other dinosaurs basically a war weapon and that that’s his best option for redemption -they unleash the Indo-whatever and eventually it goes AWOL somehow and starts not only attacking dinos but other people as well and causes destruction and death -give it some cool abilities have it be able to swim so it can get around the globe quickly and maybe other things (one of the best things in the first Jurassic World IMO was that you kept being somewhat surprised by the Indominus Rexs abilities) -so our heroes who could split up then have to search the globe for dinos whilst also trying to stop the new Hybrid dino -then follow the plot along have lots of cool dino fights (maybe a big water fight between the Hybrid and the Mosasaurus and obviously an iconic T. rex fight) and then bring the movie and any character arcs along the way to a natural conclusion thats satisfying This to me would’ve been a much better direction to take the movie and would have allowed for more of the wonder and the sightseeing that people wanted to see from this movie. We watch Jurassic world to see dinosaurs in the world causing chaos and not corporate espionage

While I agree that the locusts were out of place, I think it’s a bit of an exaggeration to say they were featured more than dinosaurs. There were only a few scenes that I can recall them being in, and I don’t feel like they really overshadowed the dinosaurs. Granted, I wouldn’t have put them in the film to begin with, but personally they didn’t detract too much from the movie for me.

I thought it was ok, it didn't completely overtake the movie. They were more of a way to connect the old and new cast which was fine. You have to remember this isn't a world where only dinosaurs are being cloned, they've cloned a human, a sabertooth tiger, ancient plants and who knows what else
@slipstreamxr3763

Actually, I thought, that the locusts were meant to be a fun little jab at the giant bug movies of the 1950's. Particularly " Beginning of the End" which was about giant grasshoppers attacking Chicago and being destroyed by a mating call which lured them into Lake Michigan. The MST3K version is hilarious.

Same here. I had zero expectations going in. I was happy seeing the old cast again. The chase sequences were great. I just had a fun time. Yea the story has issues, but I don't really care. I just wanted a fun time and I got that. Audience in the theatre applauded after the movie, so there's definitely an audience for the movie.

Sean I think I agree with your neighbour. The convoluted story and the fact some of the action I didn't think was that well directed or exciting mixed with other action that was solid but unspectacular. This film makes the The Lost World look streamlined and simplistic by comparison in terms of story and the action was shot much better than this. This movie should be called Jurassic World : Locust Kingdom.

Final comment for me, but I really liked Maisie in this film. I’ve accepted that the whole clone thing is dumb but I liked what they did with her character. The family aspect worked more for me, and she actually acted like a kid like when she flipped off Wu. I feel like her if she was maybe one of the kids in Jurassic World instead of the two boys, it could have worked better

Really love that shirt. Need to buy one myself since I truly loved that first film back in 1993. Best scene to me was the thin ice scene. And Bryce diving underwater to hide. That had tension like the first film when Alan Grant tells the kids not to move or when you see the cup of water move. Since I loved dinosaurs as a kid, Jurassic Park that I watched when I was age 12.5 was completely game-changing for me. First time we heard DTS Dolby Surround. Saw it at Universal City Walk here in Cali maybe a couple weeks after release. Late June of 1993 and that movie completely blew me away. Jurassic Park left a huge impact on me in 1993 like Jaws did for people in 1975. Pretty much every sequel that followed could never really recapture the magic of that first one.

I definitely would’ve done some things differently in the movie! keep dinosaurs roaming the earth as the premise and not scary giant locusts! (Though the fiery swarm of them was cool) and they should’ve brought in the og cast to help with Dino’s not mostly said locusts. The giga could’ve been built up better (besides the great prologue that unfortunately wasn’t included in the movie) and the resolution would’ve been better explained how man and Dino’s are going to co exist together without the whole process in the movies starting over again! that’s how I would’ve done it I still enjoyed the movie fine though!

Imagine a scenario where Alan Grant was terrified of and hated raptors (rightfully so), has to go on an adventure with Blue in tow, distrusts her the entire movie, but connects with her by the end. That would've been a character arc.

I started it over that night and WOW. Then later on that month I watched the world movies and I loved them, then this week I was rewatching the movies and I watched lost world and park 3 for the first time and I loved them. Now this one was good, not the best but not the worst

In the last batch of Planet of the Apes movies, they went from a dozen or so apes in a primate center to a downtown full in what seemed like a couple of hours. These Jurassic World movies have the same problem. A handful of dinosaurs becomes a whole world.

Dinosaurs were actually thought to be pretty prolific breeders like Canadian Geese or alligators, so it kind of makes sense as to how they spread so quickly. Especially species like the compies and gallimimus.

Interesting facts about this movie: This was conceived as a two-parter finale. The first film was to be titled Jurassic World: Dominion - which would cover the eco threat of the dinosaur outbreak and BioSyn being secretly behind the events of the last two movies. No legacy cast included. Part 2 would have been titled Jurassic World: Edge of Chaos - which would have the legacy cast assisting the World characters in trying to prevent an apocalyptic scenario involving a disease called DX secretly designed by BioSyn so that only their patented dinosaurs would survive, but which ends up only being dangerous to humans. Universal vetoed this idea late into pre-production. Several writers, David Koepp included, script doctored the screenplay, consolidating both films plotlines into the locust story we actually got. They also forced the director, Colin Trevorrow, to cut out nearly 20 minutes of the finished film, including that 5-minute prologue and some seriously important exposition scenes, all of which were put back in for the home video release. Universal absolutely butchered this movie.

I really expected this to be disappointing after being disappointed in Fallen Kingdom, plus hearing the early reviews. But I had a ton of fun! I got my fill of dinos in the real world with the intro montage and the action in Malta. And they could have utilized it more, but I still thought there was plenty of dino fun. It felt like a thrill ride. Rarely a moment to rest. Even if a lot was about locusts, I thought there was plenty of dino fun. All being said, I'd give it a 7.5-8/10. I was quite satisfied

Then we got to the Malta scene and it was interesting enough so i stuck it out. From then on it picked up more and i enjoyed it for what it was. U gotta turn your brain off completely tho. It had a few moments where i would think “wow ok that was intense why dont we get more of that?” And yea the cringy af stuff with Grant and Sattler. Sean got sum good points...Ok So I finally saw it. I feel like it had some things going for it. But was convoluted by the final act...Dodson met his doom a lil too easy..the locusts were resolved by Dodson having a change of heart, which caused the fall of biosyn...by them all burning and crashing into the woods 😆. It got sloppy in the end. Maisey was perfect for setting up shop for more interesting story...this should of been a standalone spinoff called Ingen Chronicles...like the hobbit and lotr...Because it is in the JW Universe but about Biosyn really...The final dino super t rex, indominous rex, was thrown in last minute...and felt rushed...What could of been a C+, ends up a D.

Correct, the T-Rex in all 3 of the Jurassic World movies is Rexy which is the OG T-Rex from Jurassic Park. They were teasing a bigger fight between them and Rexy was gonna win her fight and get "Revenge" as the context us that you see the Giga fight A T-Rex in the Cretaceous Prelude and that dead Trex was supposed to be a prehistoric Rexy and she wants revenge for being killed by a Giga. That's why Grant says the line, it's not about us when they start fighting. Also, the Giga stole Rexy's deer earlier in the movies so.... Also, I wish maybe Rexy would've done better in the fight as she has literally fought raptors, and the indominus Rex, but I also get that she's old and pretty beat up. Also, I loved how they Framed the T-Rex in the circle fountain. I was like that's so cool, and I finally they did it. I also really loved the beautiful nature shots at the end where the dinos were living in Harmony with the animals, especially the shot of the Mosasaurus with the Humpback whales!!!!! And finally, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and kind of hate that it's getting this much hate as yes its devisive and kind or tricked us, but I still think it's good in this way. I loved all the new dinos as well like the Atrociraptors, the Pyroraptor, the Giganotosaurus even though it should've had a bigger role, the dimetrodons, and especially the Therizinosaurus as when it stabbed the Giga, and the whole intense scene in the water with Clare was great!!!!

To anyone defending this movie I would just like to say. You can have a fun action blockbuster that is also a well written and paced story with good engaging characters - Like the original JP. And while this may have still been enjoyable to some, the reason people hate it so much is because every time one of these dumb, low effort, crapfests is successful it tells studios that they don't need to try any harder than this. And truly amazing movies like the original will become rarer and rarer until they eventually become extinct become extinct.

It wasn't the disaster Fallen Kingdom was but I did expect bigger stakes for the "epic conclusion" to the franchise. The 1st half was definitely a mess with how many plot lines they kept jumping from but I thought it improved as it went on. I had concerns with how they would take the story after the end of Fallen Kingdom and I guess I was right for the most part

Yea Sean it's the t-rex from the original..has the scars from the raptors jumping on her..yea I didn't even realize Blue was benched for no reason..I still believe a new trilogy is coming and they wanted to save these plotlines for that and used the nostalgic elements of the original trilogy legacy characters coming back to interact with the new trilogy heros and banked on it that alone being enough and can tell another story..I still did enjoy this movie alot...is there problems..YES...was it fun HELL YEA..And really all the movies in this franchise are full of holes and problems if you don't Suspend disbelief and put under a microscope you can rip any of them.(Except the original lol)..love ur channel Sean..

In terms of fanaticism, this movie nails it. In terms of skepticism, I am extremely disappointed that in 6 films in this franchise we have yet to see a film where dinosaurs run rampant and take over the Earth. I thought they would do that in Lost World and then again in Dominion and both failed to hit the high note. Furthermore, I say this so many times but if you are going to introduce so many characters, you better have the story ironed out. Malcolm was working with the undercover CIA agent who I half expected to somehow be related to the black market pilot. Claire and Owen are playing house with Macey instead of confronting her about her actions. Among other activities. And Ellie is investigating a crop problem which I don't even know why she would be doing that or why she would get Alan involved. But, yet if they didn't they couldn't introduce Henry Wu. I mean. the most exciting thing for me was the T-Rex playing dead so he could get the better of the Giga. I cheered when I saw that. Overall, it was fine but too many loose threads like the shaving cream bottle. Is that the same shaving cream bottle lost in Jurassic Park by Dennis Nedry? Why even introduce that if you aren't going to explain it? Solid C for me.

I can understand where people can dislike aspects of the film. For me, I loved it. As a die hard Jurassic fan it’s what I wanted. The locust played a huge part in the film but I think it was a necessary evil in a way. I was afraid the film would be 2.5 hours of what we saw in the last 30 minutes of the lost world. And as a huge fan of the series I was terrified that they would bring in so much and forget what the story is but by having the locust, it made 2 eras of beloved characters follow their own path (Alan, Ellie, Ian with the locust and Owen and Claire with maisie) and then both eras connecting once the locust effect the dinosaurs when they get out and burn the woods. I think a big thing people missed was that there was no carnage story to be told. The dinosaurs were never going to populated areas. The dinosaurs found their instinct and went to unpopulated areas which meant that most of the time it’s just like a bear. U run into a bear in the woods and get attacked but not in major city’s. That’s where the locust come in to add more to this story of a dying nation where Ellie Alan and Ian want o get involved. The thing about the first JP in which everyone agrees is a great movie, is that the dinosaurs r only in the film for half of the movie but with the addition of the World trilogy, audiences expect more dinosaurs more death and more carnage but dominion went back to simplistic JP in a modern JW era. Add on top of that the beautiful film making of how the dinosaurs r in the habitat that they are contained in I can not give it enough praise.

I really enjoyed the movie. Like everyone says, it was flawed. However, I don’t think the corporate espionage stuff necessarily takes away from it. I will say, thinking back on it, a lot of people may feel like this stuff came out of nowhere because they didn’t follow up with the lore or watch Camp Cretaceous (which hinted at some of the stuff). But I felt like the storyline fit perfectly cause the previous installments kinda set it up.

I loved the call backs, I loved the Easter eggs and FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE !!! I ENJOYED THE JUMPSCARES !!! The cast was great 2 of them sucked but the rest ! I loved ! My only complaints, yes the bugs did yes bug me how that was the main plot, and really, wish we had a velociraptor scene like in the 1st 3 films ! But I enjoyed it ! Was a great surprise that I enjoyed a movie IN A FRANCHISE THAT gave me massive nightmares as a kid ! 8/10 for me ! And yes, imma see it again ! Can’t beleive I even said any of this ! Love it

I enjoyed the movie for what it was and had a great time. I think I’m understanding that a lot of people wanted a “dinosaurs among us” movie but I have no idea how that could work. The short film you mentioned WAS good, it was great. And I think that it was good because it was SHORT. I don’t know how anyone could stretch that out into a decent 90m movie. Take the “big Dino fights.” The only way that EVER happens is by artificially putting apex predators in a closed environment when those predators would NEVER be that close to each other. They would never enter each other’s territory. In a “dinosaurs among us” movie they would have to jump through the craziest hoops to make a big Dino fight happen. Could there have been a better movie? Sure, that’s always true. The locusts as a plot hook? Not great. “Omg these giant locusts that are clearly genetically modified aren’t eating these genetically modified crops made by this genetically modifying company that has all of the genetically engineered dinosaurs?” Yeah, that was obvious as hell. So yeah, could have been better writing. I’m not trying to say the movie is gold, that was only ever Jurassic Park. And at the end of the day I had a good time. It was worth my ticket price, I’ll probably buy it in the future, and I think a lot of people that could enjoy this movie are being unfairly turned off by a lot of reviews.

I just finished watching this movie and it was better than I expected. I had low expectations going in from what I heard about it, but I ended up having fun with it. I thought it was thrilling. The dinosaurs had more screen time than I expected. I didn't like how they handled the Dr. Grant character, I felt like they made him look stupid at times and Jeff Goldblum could have definitely dialed back on the jokes. This was Jeff Goldblum being Jeff Goldblum instead of Ian Malcolm. I would rank this third on my list below Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. I love The Lost World, but this was more thrilling and fun for me. The final fight between the T Rex and the Giga was a bit disappointing though.

Watched the movie and in my opinion its a mess of a movie, but first i will start with the things i liked. Plot: Dont have much to say here it was a bloddy mess but surprisingly the best part of the plot in my opinion it was indeed the locusts plot, it was interesting and it was more intense than the dinos XD, the other part of the plot i like was in malta, i liked the scenes and i do like how humans make a black market for the dinos. Characters: The old trio being back make this movie better although they could had better lines most of them seem too forced, but i love to see them back anyways. Clair, Owen and Maisie were ok, Maisie was kinda anoying in the begining but she got better in the end of the movie idk how to feel about her origin story tho, Owen was being Owen idk what to say more XD i do still like him tho and Clair well i think its nice to see her trying to be a mother although she had some cringe lines for those moments tho, Dr wu gonna be honest i would prefer if he was still a villain, but im ok of him try to redeem himself, Zia no comment literaly had like 2 or 3 lines and byebye, Franklin was the same with Zia, but he did help Clair and Owen and then Barry, it was prety cool seem him back i did like his scenes would love to see him more tho. And finnaly the new characters i did kinda like them but we did not realy have enough of them but generaly was cool to see dodgson back he was an interesting villain with his personality, ramsay was ok we did not had enough time with him, but one thing i realy like with him, was that part when he said about the elevator to alan and ellie, i found kinda dumb in the begining when he said that, but then it reveals he was helping too, i found prety clever and nice of him doing that, Santos i found her interesting and i wanna know more about her and the atrociraptors that she have, new poacher dude that die by the baryonyx with mecha arm dont remember his name XD yh he was just bad guy, well Santos was too just a bad guy but i found her more interesting tho and finnaly kayla of the new characters probaly was the best, find kinda silly tho that she help clair prety fast but sure. Dinos/Species: For the dinos i did like to see the realy big diversity of species there is, realy like all the designs except for cough giga. Of the new dinos and species my favs were the theri and quetz realy like their designs and scenes, did like too that theri was blind from one eye thats what it look like for me. And thats the things i liked, time for i dont like things time. Plot: like i say it was mess, too many action scenes one behind another, bad pasting, the scenes were passing to fast it was a 2h movie but for me the scenes passed too fast like we were in one place and then we are on another place and finnaly this movie literaly ended with no conclusion like wtf? dinos still in the wild briging chaos. Dont know what to say more it was bad. Characters: Big lack of no action scenes with the characters and also big lack of scenes with the new characters and yh too many action scenes. The lines omg most of the lines seem too forced or cringe or both of them. Dinos/Species: Oh boi where i start XD, welp gonna start with the designs, like i said i did like the designs but the giga omg WHAT THE FUCK THEY DO WITH MY BOI? there was never been a design that i hate more than the giga too godzilla and crocodelian (and i even love godzilla and crocodiles) they honestly should have go to the more accurate side since biosy created the pyroraptor, quetz, theri and moros way more accurate, then we have colin saying that giga would be like the joker, one question how she is like the joker? the giga literaly was a normal dino (i do like that she was just normal but still) it was just territorial, giga also felt underused and die for no reason, giga was not evil and destructive like colin said she would be. Most dinos were underused for the scenes and the worst part is that the new dinos had like just 1 scene except for the theri and the giga, i honestly liked more the scene with the carno and allo than the pyroraptor and dimetrodon scenes and also they should just have cut the pyroraptor and dimetrodon scenes would literaly make no diference, and its sad because pyroraptor realy had a cool desgin they could have used him again or the dimetrodon for that scene with clair and ellie but nah its locus time XD, also big f for the moros that also looked cool but had no real importance they should have used more and even use his true size he also could be the one for clair and ellie scene or he could also replace the atrociraptor oh why replace gonna talk about that soon, anyways both old and new dinos felt underused and their scenes passed to fast. Now time to talk about the atrociraptors i have to say whats the point of them? they could have been easily replaced, like i said they could have been fully grow moros would be awesome a no Dromaeosauridae doing all that action and would make more connection with Santos and biosyn, other dino could replace them were both the jp2 and jp3 raptors, thats right would have not be awesome if Santos was using those velociraptors would be fanservise? yes but would be soo good just imagine the jp2 and jp3 raptors leaving those cages, i would be happy man if they did that, one thing i did like about the atrociraptors is their design so in my brain i would have used 1 jp2 raptor, 1 male jp3 raptor and 1 female jp3 raptor and then one new generation velociraptor that have the atrociraptor model that is called red, its a male and the alpha and would fight blue but then would like yh love her same with blue XD honeslty the atrociraptor was that new dino that i see no point to have on the movie they could be just a new gen of velociraptors. Dilo time, i love to see them finnaly back but like the other dinos too underused and only thing he did was killing dodgson yh thanks for the reference btw too many references not needed. Kinda disappointed that dilo one of the dinos we wait for so long for his return he just did that. And finnaly the final batlle oh lord i hate it, it was too stupid, rexy gets a powerup from being unconscious, giga was not trying to defend himself against theri and rexy, the batlle seem too slow action and it was a realy fast batlle, one thing i did not mind was the theri there i know alot of people did but i was kinda happy to see theri back and fight a large carnivore just would have prefer have been longer and giga survives because for me giga died for no reason, but one thing i want to say its that the theri could have been replaced by either the spino or buck and doe, i miss those 3 would love to see more the spino tho. In the end this movie was bad i had fun but it was bad, idk where to put it tho still kinda undecided if its higher or lower than fallen kingdom yup you heard him welp thats my conclusion from the movie, remember this just my opinion and also if you read all this im sorry for the long text XD

I think the plot of this movie was dumb but I enjoyed it. One thing I didnt like as much was a lack of a consistent dinosaur threat that was always interfering with the main characters. Every other JP movie has had this. The first two had the TRex and Raptors, the third one had the spinosaurus and Raptors, jurassic world had the indominus rex and the last one had the indo raptor. This movie tried to do that with the giganotasaurus (I think that's what its called) but it doesnt really show up until the end of the movie. So when they tried to have the epic dino battle at the conclusion, it didnt feel as earned as it did in previous movies, the biggest example being Jurassic World. In that movie the indominus was a threat the whole time and it was really cool to see the Trex and blue fight it. I also felt satisfied to see it finally die. In contrast the final fight of this movie is cool but since the giganotasaurus barely has a presence in the movie, seeing it fight and be defeated by the t rex and the claw dino (dont remember its name) while cool did not have the same sense of victory that it had in previous movies. Instead we got locusts.

I love dinosaurs because of Jurassic Park. It's my earliest memory and I was born in 1993, seeing the Jurassic Park poster in my local theater (blurry but vivid). I love the 1st one. The 2nd is good, not as good as the 1st and after that each sequel fell a little lower in my liking. I can enjoy them for what they are. I enjoyed JP3, Jurassic World (mainly for the nostalgia), Fallen Kingdom is the worst in my opinion. This one, barely better than the last (just for the legacy characters and Dewanda Wise). I left the theater not as happy as I wanted to be. Don't get me wrong, it looks great (some wonky cgi) and there are some compelling sequences. But the movie had an identity crisis. All that said, if people like the movie that is totally fine. Who knows, it might grow on me. Perhaps the extended version will change my mind, I am open the possibility.

They basically should've saved Indominus Rex and Indoraptor for this movie so they can hunt down the InGen and Biosyn dinosaurs. Then it would've been cool to see Indominus Rex take on some of the dinosaurs in her genome like Tyrannosaurus Rex, Giganatosaurus and Therizinosaurus. Indoraptor could've hunted down lose Atrociraptors and medium-small dinosaurs. Anything would've been better than what we actually got. I had so much faith in this movie but they didn't learn from their mistakes. At least the dinosaurs looked great!

They could've shown something very different by showing what really would've happened if dinosaurs start to co-exist with human beings like crisis of food, all-time fear of death, destruction of cities and towns, crash of stock market, humans would've stopped to go outside and even inside of their house they're not safe. Like, tomorrow if a herbivores dinosaur decides to come in my locality to plants. How many people cars etc he would've crashed by his foot. And while eating plants if he moves his tail, he can turn my house into brick pieces. Hence, an apocalypse. This film had the potentiality to be the best in the franchise by focusing on these points except providing the same old plot.

This movie has its floors, mainly in my opinion is the whole locust storyline. But it is such a fun end for the franchise, all the references to the first film are amazing, I like the new characters, and the new dinosaurs are epic! This franchise means THE WORLD to me. I was born a year after JP3 but I have loved dinosaurs ever since I was a kid. I would go around as a 3 year old telling people I wanted to be a palaeontologist, however I forgot about them for a few years, until 2015 when Jurassic World came out and my love for dinos started all over again. My first year of studying zoology at university ended today, and it was fate that this film came out on the same day. I truly believe that I am on the road to becoming a palaeontologist because of Jurassic World, and I cried the whole way through this film because of that. It truly was an incredible experience.

I did enjoy this film- and it was better than Fallen Kingdom IMHO. I think the original 3 being in it (albeit a weird plotline) has given this movie some extra grace with fans. If this movie had been let's say the 7th movie in the franchise- after a full movie was spent in the world of " dinos are now everywhere"- I also feel it would sit better. If that makes sense. I understand the criticisms though. Still a fun movie - and my Wife really liked it as well.

Jurassic World: Dominion I haven't seen Moon Knight. Didn't see Scream and no interest watching Morbius. I'm in no rush to watch Ms. Marvel or She-Hulk. I don't see myself watching every MCU or SW streaming series. I've heard the Nic Cage film was fun. I did see some of Death on the Nile and Uncharted but not all of it. From what I saw, both felt mediocre. I got a feeling Love And Thunder will be top 3 but it could also return to mediocrity like the first 2 Thor films. Can't have my hopes up. Top Gun 2 and Cobra Kai are really the only ones I've seen that surpasses their classic 80s films while still honoring them. I'm looking at the rest of the 2022 film releases and I'm underwhelmed. I hated Avatar. I'm not sure about Wakanda Forever or Black Adam. The trailer to the latter was whatever. Nobody takes The Rock seriously as an actor. He makes the dumbest movies and he's pretty much acting the same exact way in all his movies. They're as dumb as the Fast films with the same generic formula.
