I can vouch for the Casio “Royale”. My 11 yo son wears it almost 24/7 and it has taken a merciless beating for over a year, including ocean swimming with its 100m WR! So good.

Only thing I hate about it is that it usually gets moved to another timezone when the back of your hand accidentally touch the button. Had a few late appointments because of that. So I changed it to the ae-1300. Sporty-er timing feature. I just missed the 5 alarms from the ae-1200

Ae1200 is another good choice although I don't wear mine that much. Personally I would choose the mrw200 analogue over the w217h. Re Seiko SARB clasp: Seiko has a titanium micro-adjust clasp (I believe it is for the Marine Master) which can be found for around US $70 on eBay. I've started using this clasp on various watches, even non-Seikos. It works great. Have a try. You won't be disappointed. Good vid. Keep at it!

I'm still a bit miffed at Seiko for discontinuing the SARB, so after watching Jody's video on the Glycine (not really) Combat 6 I managed to get my hands on a brand new GL0105 for $260 shipped. No, it's not anywhere near as elegant as a SARB but it has its own charm and you can't beat a real Swiss hi-beat movement for that price. It's been on my wrist since it arrived.

Congrats on your milestone, Jody! I know you didn't have any footage of them, but both the Steinhart OVM and the O1 Ceramic need to be on the list, IMO. Probably all non-GMT O1s, actually. They cost under $500 and feature Swiss made, elaboré grade movements and sapphire crystals. Plus a screw-pin steel bracelet with solid links, solid end-links and milled clasps. And unlike the Combat Sub, you can always get them for the sub-$500 price, from either gnomon or the manufacturer.

Jody+KZbin algorithm = addiction. Thanks Jody. I bought the Helm Vanuatu to round out my micro collection but she's feeling like the one and done on my left wrist. Currently my right wrist hosts either a Steinhart OVM 38mm or Glycine Airmen Double-12 42mm. The Vanuatu is not too heavy for me and I'm a 90kg fly weight. TBH I don't feel it's weight on wrist. Into the future is luxury; Oris Big Crown pro pilot, Tudor Peligos or Sinn 104. Enough budget buys for now, only serous quality will replace the Helm Vanuatu on my left wrist. Still, only my G Shock can mow lawns with me. Congratulations Jody, here's to 500 more👍😎

The Casio World Time Illuminator - does everything and is Great Looking with Gold Trim and is a very nice looking Timepiece for approximately $26.95 (price has gone up since i purchased). It is #11 on your list Casio Royalle and i think nicer looking than any of the other Casio digitals shown. It also has in one Corner a micro Round Analog with Hour, minute and second hands. I enjoy this timepiece! I Love my Pro Treks one Model Retailing for $1100.00. I’m Blessed to have a wonderful collection of Timepieces! I’m a “Watch addict” and thoroughly enjoy Your Videos.
