Biggest thing I can recommend for group cosplays, is everyone works on their own stuff, together. Speaking from experience doing an ODST build with a 6 man group, taking it all on yourself when there’s scheduling conflicts is brutal. Absolutely brutal. Even if they’re not into cosplay crafting, it’s a great time to teach and do together. But taking it on yourself will drain you. It ended up working out, but… just trust me.

Just a suggestion, but instead of metal rods between each part, maybe you could have versions with square holes and an stl for a square peg we could just print on its side. That would just make one less part to buy and worry about as well as costing just pennies worth of filament.

For us divers who don't have access to expensive chemicals, space and a workshop, what corners can you cut to make the armour "good enough". Every time I look at learning cosplay there's always so much money required to start it seems. I don't want a perfect costume, just something that's achievable and affordable for someone with no workshop and a very tight budget.
