Nice tribute to Uecker. I love that he made fun of his own shortcomings as a hitter. It's great that one of his many memorable lines in "Major League" is the source of your clever and fitting title for this show. Another favorite, referring to a Yankees slugger: "He leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair."

When I think of Ueck I think of Brewers before I think of Major League. Milwaukee had the pleasure of listening to him on the air for 54 years. His improv during games was amazing. The score could be 12-3, but you’d want to listen to his stories between pitches.

I can see Rusty and Vada being in the HOF. I mean how many active players today will make it to 2,700 + hits? Mr. Baseball will be missed.
