Love your authenticity & honesty. Been teaching yoga since 1986 & have often described my yoga education as a patchwork quilt rather than a cashmere blanket (many brilliant teachers, styles & cultures) but both keep you warm! And thank you for the feminist input, Andrea! I'd also add that I'm an introvert who struggles with being in front of folks, but the 'magic' of yoga impels me to share what I've experienced & learned. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for this. Especially the truth that is ,’I’m not so good at it yet’ It reassures me that I’m not the only who’s at this stage and it’s ok ❤

All of us are in this spectrum of growth -- that's such a beautiful way of framing this.

Thanks so much for this 🙏 and for all of your content for teachers. It’s so helpful! I’m a new teacher just in the past couple of years and am still working towards 100 teaching hours in yoga. This was an exceptionally reassuring and encouraging discussion. Thank you

This hits home hard. I think imposter syndrome is part of the genuine growth we'll unfold as we continue our journey down whatever road of discovery. I use "OM" in the majority of my live flows. I'm not sure it is something I truly resonate with too. I do I believe it's a great foundation for new yogi's to have mutual introduction as it is depicted in many stereotypes of yoga (yogi's in lotus with hands resting on inside thigh-knee and finger thumb touching. I think if a veteran or new yoga instructor interprets these ways of instructing as helpful for others then it's a great thing. Imposter syndrome is no joke and I think it shows in many of my flows on my channel. I've been diving into a mindful journey within and can't wait to get back out their and share. Thank you both!

Ah! I didnt know there was a term for what I'm currently experiencing as a Yoga teacher. I've been calling it depression or 'just not mentally there', but the truth is, I've been feeling unworthy to teach Yoga lately. Thank you for your clarity and encouragement!

It's great to be able to see Jason and Andrea in this new format! However, at least for me, the audio was very, very low. I had no audio issues when it was offered without the video. The audio on my computer is all the way up and I'm not having issues with the audio on videos from other venues.

Hi Elaine. Glad you enjoyed the new format. I tested all the audio levels on different devices and everything is working correctly on my end. Sorry, KZbin is delivering you something that's a little too quiet.

Thank you!!!! I felt the straight jacket of imposter syndrome gently release as I listened to this episode. You approached the topic in ways I had not yet heard and they resonated deeply. I will rewatch as often as I need until I am actively pursuing my goals.
