Great video! I used this video for putting on my skunk2 hardware. A few weeks later i used this video in reverse to put the OEM hardware back after I was getting oil leaking out 😂

I believe that the torquing specs for the dome nut is 8.7 foot-pound as the manufacture recommends. I am about to replace one of the bolt stud with an OEM bolt. Shall I torque the stuck bolt with a male end thread to 16 foot-pound just like a female end thread? Please someone reply because I couldn’t find any info about that!

Did you have any leaks using this hardware? I’m running the low profile hardware too, and I’m leaking at the exhaust manifold.

To be honest, I’ve only just done the first startup. Haven’t gotten it to the dyno yet. Are you leaking through the valve cover gasket? If so, do you have a good PCV relief or catch can?

@@BuildingWithSean I just took a closer look today. It was leaking from one of the skunk2 washer, the oring was snapped. Also was leaking valve cover gasket towards the exhaust manifold side. My fault I didn't use any honda bond or rtv. And as for pcv, everything is just vented to atmosphere and running one of those oil vent caps to a catch can.

@@tgsn_Yeah these skunk2 low profiles are known for leaks. Supposedly chances of leaks increase if you run a turbo. I just stuck with OEM

could you fit a supercharger instead of turbo ? im planing also to do k swap but for some reason i like supercharger more than turbocharger...

I’ve seen some guys do supercharger setups, but I can’t really speak to it myself.

Lol @knub nut. Can you still use the same kit properly with an OEM k series valve cover? Thanks for the vid it’s helpful.

If you’re referring to the Skunk2 hardware, then yes it will work with a stock valve cover
