Cool tutorial, i really like how you utilize that extra objects curve! Thanks. Anyone who has a problem with cylinder - boolean operation might dive the top/bottom faces with edges. My solution was: After boolean operation, I cut the cylinder into half, used a mirror modifier, than added the bounce curve with: Bounces: 1200 Angular Noise: 0.15 Offset: 0 Extra: 50 Random seed: 99 it worked ok for me. I couldn't find a way to create a single top/bottom face for the boolean ops though. Have a nice day and thanks for the tut's!

Nice tutorial! Is there a way to avoid the curve from intersecting after giving it a depth? It's supposed to look like a ball of wool without the thread merging into eachother.

Great video! But I have a problem, when I try to add the bounce spline to the cylinder, it only go to the center making the "infinity" symbol, do you have any tips to solve this problem please?
@mokuro7473 жыл бұрын
In fact the bounce spline is everywhere, but not on the disk
@KaizenTutorials3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Have you tried to tweak the noise and bounce parameters in the menu for better results? Also make sure to apply the scale with ctrl A! It can also be the UV density, make sure your top and bottom faces of the cylinder are single faces! Hope this helps, good luck! Let me know if it still doesn’t work, i’ll try to think of more solutions :-)
