It's really cool how well it works in the middle of the ocean. I have an original beta terminal, and I got a little better speed in the middle of Colorado, USA, a year ago. Now, two fiber companies have come down my remote road, so the Starlink terminal is still on my house but not connected.

I think placing the antenna at the top is not optimal because the antenna will vibrate a lot which will stress the motor. It would be better if it was placed with minimal vibration and most importantly pointing upwards without obstruction.

the first time that I heard about Starlink being used at sea was on the French racing sailboats: IMOCA60 and class 40 boats that race around the world and follow the same routes that these container ships do. They use them to vlog live while they are racing. But having internet for everybody on the crew takes A LOT of bandwidth. You can price the packages on the cruse ships for comparison to see what it costs. That would make a HUGE difference for sailors at sea as you could keep in touch with family and friends.

Hi, whether internet speed is constant while rolling and pitching. While I was RO in year 2000, Satcom connection quite often disconnected even though Satcom is fitted with gyro stabilisation. So, what about starlink whether it is affected by rolling and pitching. Thanks
