When there are multiple charges on a verdict form it should be absolutely mandatory to pole the jury foreman on each charge before declaring a mistrial. The fact that it's not legally required is a huge hole in our judicial system.

This Judge was horrible in the Karen Read trial. She did not do justice for this trial. If they do have a trial then I would say they also need to start over with a NEW investigation of the case by top investigators to look into the family that held the after-party and where the victim died. Investigators that can look without any bias but just wanting truth.

A proper investigation is impossible at this point. The crime scene was contaminated. The Albert’s house was never searched. Phone data was destroyed before it could have been collected. John’s arm wounds weren’t swabbed. That’s why it should be dismissed.

She's not "FREE." She's out on bail. Justice for Karen Read IS justice for John O'Keefe. 🩷💙 You can tell who watched the trial and who watched clips. How anyone can listen to the testimony of the ARCCA experts from the FBI vs Trooper Paul and not scientifically understand she's innocent is beyond me. Even the prosecution's medical examiner said the injuries were inconsistent with a MVA. As did the FBI ARCCA experts who were independent of each side. They said the car didn't hit him and he wasn't hit by the car. If they want to retry on count 2, fine. Counts 1 & 3 should be dropped.

@@SJSummers01 1. During KR’s arraignment hearing at the Stoughton District Court on 2 February 2022 (whereby KR was aged 41, as a (supposed) intelligent, assertive and forthright person, and having legal representation) the following occurred and was confirmed. 2. Yannetti gave submissions for quite some time and represented to the Court that KR lacked any criminal intent in what was referred to as a “motor vehicle accident”. 3. KR had told LE at the time: (a). She dropped JO off because she was having stomach issues (this contradicts her subsequent calls and voice mails and what she told JO’s niece that they had an argument, that night). (b). She made a three point turn in the road and left (this is an admittance of reversing her SUV in Fairview Road as was verified at the trial). (c). She did not see JO enter, or go to, the Alberts house (as verified via the trial along with JO’s GPS and Apple data showing he did not go to the house and did not move from where he was found). (d). She first observed her broken taillight that morning and did not know how she broke it (this contradicts the later story that it was broken due to her hitting JO’s SUV with her SUV). (e). She said at the time of finding JO: “I hit him” three times (no one made this up later as some people are alleging). (f). There was no mention of any police cover up or anything of that nature, or that anyone was involved in JO’s passing, or that KR didn’t know what happened to JO, or that she had nothing to do with his passing. 4. Yannetti told reporters outside of court: (a). “KR was in shock”. (b). “JO’s death had been an innocent accident”. (c). “KR had no criminal intent”. (d). “KR loved this man and was devastated”. 5. Via a later interview KR’s father advised she had said to him at the time: (a). “Dad I think I struck something”. (b). “I remember backing up and hitting something” (again verifying KR reversing her SUV as verified at the trial, along with some sort of accident occurring at that exact time, and via her SUV data). (c). KR was obviously not referring to hitting JO’s vehicle as she would not have used the word “something”. 6. KR’s words that night via voicemails: “John I f***ing hate you”, “John I’m here with your f***ing kids”, “You are a f***ing pervert”, “I’m with your f***ing niece and nephew”, “You’re a f***ing loser” and “F**** yourself”. The venom in her voice and obsession in the fifty three (53) calls she made to him, and also the texts she sent earlier that day, appear to indicate instability/rage/anger. 7. KR later stated (via an interview): “What I thought could have happened was that did I incapacitate him unwittingly, somehow, and then in his drunkenness, he passed out”. 8. The above statement of KR is so close to what the CW are stating happened and the evidence in the trial (except the CW believe she hit JO intentionally) and if the defense current Motion is true - the jurors also believed she hit JO (eg. Juror quote: “none of us believed she hit him on purpose”). 9. KR’s own words via the above statement also lines up with what she said at the time, that she didn’t see JO go to the house (which his GPS and Apple data also proves he didn’t). 10. Eg. How could she even think that she could have incapacitated JO etc, if she saw him go to the house - it would be impossible and why would any person generally even think such a thing. 11. It appears that what KR said at the time is true (usually generally would be the case) and at her arraignment, etc, what she has said since is untrue. 12. The above is all publicly out there for people to watch for themselves and can’t be denied.

Where are you going with all this, are you going to take over KR’s defense. Oh wait …. did you not get the memo that the FBI already investigated the frame job and the conspiracy theory (even calling on a Federal Grand Jury) and finalised it via a 3,700 page report and found no evidence of such and no charges/indictments were laid against anyone - charges still only against KR. Evidence not there then - it’s not there now - it never will be. Otherwise, surely you are not alleging that the FBI and the FGJ are also “IN ON IT”. Have you reported your concerns and thoughts as a person who thinks they know more than the FBI and without; the case files, the appropriate and necessary training, expertise and access to their high level software, etc, to the FBI’s superior governing body, to see if there is anyone there who cares 🤔. Otherwise, a waste of YT space and people’s time reading comments about matters that have already been investigated by the FBI.

If he was "in fear of his life" why didn't he leave when he first started to leave and why didn't he make sure his body cam was on? The defense “blame game” yet with no proof continues via this Motion: 1. There are no affidavits of the alleged four jurors attesting to such allegations (as were filed with the Motion in the Alex Murdaugh trial when jurors made certain allegations) and the other eight jurors have not come forward making any such allegations. 2. Further, the defense were given a full opportunity to be heard throughout deliberations and had (forcefully) sought and obtained changes to the jury slips and consented to them, they sought the Tuey-Rodriguez, and thereafter repeatedly and eagerly favoured/pushed for a mistrial to be declared (Yannetti stating, quote: “I think exhaustive is the operative word here” in regards to the jury’s deliberations). 3. From that point, the reasonsable anticipation of a mistrial was apparent to the defense. They even took a “victory lap” (even though it wasn’t a victory at all) after the mistrial was declared and gave an interview on the court steps reflecting such, yet now want to blame everyone else for their own failure to say or do something at the time. 4. Furthermore, the judge can ask if the jury were hung on any of the verdicts, however she was not obliged to and when you review the final jury note (#4) it clearly indicated the jury were not hung on any of the verdicts, to any reasonable minded person. 5. The Motion will fail because the rule of law and numerous case law dictates what the defense seeks is not lawful in these circumstances for many and obvious reasons (as any proper and truthful legally minded person would/should know). 6. Yet they continue to waste tax payers money (court time and resources) on unmeritorious Motions, defense’s and arguments, that are never proven or meritorious, and their never ending “blame game” yet with no proof continues … go figure!

The O’Keefe family had to sit close to this sycophant every day, watching her smirking and gurning, whilst the death of John was played out in graphic detail. She’s never once shown any respect or compassion for these people. I hope she gets a sentence of some type when she’s eventually found guilty in the next trial. She shouldn’t get off Scott free. The whole point of the jury system is that the jury is made up by ordinary people. People who don’t know the law, don’t have court room experience. How were they supposed to know that they should/could do that?! There were nothing in the information or jury instructions about this. The court/the judge are responsible for the trial process and the jury. If the jury didn’t understand/knew how and what to do it’s the courts/the judges fault. Jury instructions needs to be perfectly clear and the judge should make sure all jurors have understood. If jurors are misunderstanding the court/judge hasn’t done their job! And it should be in the courts/justice systems interest to investigate what went wrong here. This is the weakness of the jury system (or one of them) how can you believe justice will prevail if the jury doesn’t have the right information about how to do their duty? There is a reason why U,S has the most wrongfully convicted in the whole world.

What about: 1.

And there needs to be a change in procedure when deciding on who to hire I liv in a much smaller country. But last year we had about 34 police shootings. Half of them was a police shooting at a person. The other half was shooting warning shots into the air. Not a single one was shot dead. I’m 42, I have never seen a police with their weapons drawn at someone. Our police academy is 2 years full time university studies and then 6 months as a police cadet. But to ewe get to enroll at the academy you have to endure both physical and psychological testing. Our police are trained not to use their weapons unless it’s absolutely necessary. They are trained to view communication as there most effective weapon and they are trained to de-escalate situations instead of as in this case and so many others escalate the situation. So yes, it’s a big country, there are differences throughout the country BUT there are systemic faults in policing and training all over the country. I seriously question the motives of those on the jury who can still consider a guilty verdict when scientific evidence doesn't corroborate the Prosecutions version of events and the witnesses were shadier than a powercut

Sad to see just how clueless that jury was. Defense attorney proved beyond a reasonable doubt that there was police corruption. I guess some people are just too naive and live in a land of unicorns, rainbows, cupcakes and perfect police officers who would never commit crimes or do anything wrong. I wish I could live there but unfortunately, I live in reality.

I Still believe there could be footage of Karen swiping John and the free Karen’s would say she’s innocent 😅 Imagine if this was a male who was obsessed , unhinged and a cheater, who killed a woman and letting her die slowly. Imagine the uproar. There would be no one wanting him to get away with it. Yet here we are. Nothing Karen does is wrong. Her lies are just avoided. Her actions avoided. Her admissions avoided. Strange stuff.

U don’t attempt CPR on an alleged friend that was in your house a few hours prior….& NOBODY goes inside the house to rule it out S part of crime scene. Apparently this dumb jury didn't remember what we all learned in 2nd grade-there is no bad question. They had plenty of time to send notes to the judge for help/explanation. There were 11 other jurors that could have spoken up other than the Foreman. If he wasn't doing the job the others felt was right they could have approached the judge. Just like when they didn't like that other juror said that KR was making too many faces. Then that juror got excused. I guess when it was crunch time the jurors were a bunch of chickens.

if there were three charges then there should been documents for each count to make guilty or not guilty!!!! So, there were two charges of not guilty & unhung jury on the other. It is the courts/judge mistake for not asking about each charge from jury foreman. This is a court mistake & both sides didn't realize each charge needed to be ruled on by the court. The two unanumous not guilty is double jeapordy if it is charged in a new trial.

I don’t think they were confused. I think they were following instructions. The judge told them not to fill out the verdict form until they had reached unanimous agreement on all counts. So they were under the impression they were hung unless they were unanimous on all counts. Your second guest is totally right. Plus… you can’t just poll the jury during deliberations.
