I think you are partly wrong in your comment...been living in this country for 22 years and what I noticed about (maybe even most of) Americans, is they actually prefer that others do the thinking and making the decisions for them. They like to brag how free they are, yet, have a strong need for BELONGING. Whether to a church, chapter or what ever it might be. For the big part they actually enjoy being "sheep". You have more vacation time than the average working class American will ever see. You can begin collecting retirement at 38 years old, then go work for the government and get another retirement from the same government that employed you meanwhile collect retirement on your military income for 2-3 times as long as you worked. I’m not saying that military people don’t make a contribution. I’m saying that it afford and kind of security that the average working class American has an experience since they almost extinguished unions. I’m saying this as a privileged person who has never had to worry about whether I would go to college and who grew up with lots of security. I did say the oppression of being a woman, although I did that in a white skin, but is it gay woman I lost that privileged so I worked hard for the adult breaks.

It’s downright painful but I check out what Trump is saying and doing every single day. The man terrifies me. Dr. Hunter, i am befuddled by Black people not realizing how serious this election is. Why in the world did our ancestors fight so hard for our freedom for our community to be at this point. I am trying to figure out if the dissenters are just líder than those of us who are voting for democracy ie Biden? WTH is going on. I posted comments a day or two ago, and after re-reading my own comments, I realized I must have had a slight mini minor breakdown. LOL. I realized that I was more concerned about the lady saying people were stealing vs. her wanting to die if Trump didn't win. You're great! You listened to it first, then shared it with us, you were able to have a laugh about it as stunning as it was, and you allowed the space and grace for our comments because so many of us couldn't believe our ears.
