Like all great comic there is so much courage in voicing opinions. I never could really like Anderson Cooper again after incident. It’s like those people who see you trip and fall and instead of lending a hand just preach on how you should have watched your step. What a douche.

You know: she made a choice by posting that photo, got a lot of backlash from fans and non-fans alike, and then took down the photo and apologized…and that should have been that. She didn’t do any other number of awful things that many other comedians *and politicians* have with far less backlash, such as sexually assault people. The way so many people just continued to go after her was ridiculous. I had a coworker at the time that wouldn’t shut up about it, and I’m like; “well, I didn’t like the photo but at the end of the day she’s a comedian and I don’t hold her to the same standard as a politician. Now, politicians posting similarly inflammatory things are the ones I feel we should be concentrating on because they’re supposed to be representing us”. My coworker did not like that response. I’m pretty sure she was a secret Trumper.

Not to mention the fact that it was the photographer's idea and he kinda pushed it on her. She could have refused of course, but I get why she had no idea it would be so explosive.
