Even with a knockdown if thats a 10-8 Katie still wins. Dont be silly. There is feet contact which affects balance. There arent any headbutts in the fight, there are head clashes . It is very different. You dont know what you are looking at. They both worked up close and both where coming in with their heads. It was how they worked. Cameron was using her head also, taylor won fair and square, she lost the first one, nobody was complaining about it being in dublin when cameron got the decision in the first fight, which she won fair and square, truth is she's coming to dublin thinking she has taylors number and the money was incredible. Remember katie taylor has fought all around the world and most of her bouts are in the uk so its fair enough for her to get a couple of fights at home. Truth of the matter is when katie taylor was in her prime and chose to box nobody would come near beating her. She showed that in this fight over the first 5 rounds. She tired late on as she has been in some wars over the years and her age catching up a little bit. She's a model professional and a hero in ireland. But make no mistake about it. She deserved that win on Saturday.

What was really criminal about this fight was the sheer amount of holding that katie taylor was allowed to get away with without any warnings what so ever. Her tactics were clearly to throw combinations and hold on the inside where cameron was more effective. You could even hear the corner shouting about the holding and the referee was not responding, holding needs to be punished far more quickly in fights it stops inside fighters getting their work off.

I agree, in the amateur ranks judges are well on top of stopping holding because excessive holding is illegal and amateurs don't want to be getting into bad habits. Katie was using all the dirty tricks in the book to get the win because she knew she had no chance against Chantelle otherwise.

Great comment I missed putting that in in my comment. Cameron's corner were going ballistic as Cameron is better on the inside so Taylor was holding alot more than she usually does. Cameron won all the last 3 rounds too Taylor was gassed she's lucky it wasn't 12x3 rounds like Amanda Serano recently did. She'd have got stopped as all momentum was with Cameron.

It was a knockdown. Judging on her history I seriously doubt Taylor would ever go in the ring with the intention of headbutting an opponent. And even had the knockdown been awarded to Cameron by the referee, Taylor still won the fight. Just an opinion.

We have different opinions then. To me it's clear Katie flew in with her head at least 2 feet and looked to have aimed directly at Chantelle's head to cause damage. Fighters know that a headbutt can hurt a lot more than a punch, she kept using flying headbutts throughout because she knew the ref was turning a blind eye to it, that's my opinion.

No it wasn't robbery. Katie won the fight quite easily. Watch it back, won by at least 3 rounds. As for headbutt, I've said for years, these happen much more in women's boxing because of one reason. 2 minute rounds. When the rounds are so short, the fighters feel they need to slog it out, toe to toe which then results in bad techniques and head clashes. If these big fights were 12, 3 minute rounds the fighters could highlight their boxing skills and we'd see much less headbutts. There is zero reason for 2 minute rounds.

Cameron won that fight dude, Cameron walked her down just like the first fight. This was actually worse for Taylor with all the holding and illegal head butts. Did you listen to the commentary, it was a disgrace to boxing. The first round was 10/8 and if they counted that Cameron would have won even in Ireland. Fighting in Ireland sucked but Cameron couldn’t turn down the money, should have been in England. Cameron style just walking her down all fight and dropping her and making her hold is enough to win. Thanks for your unbiased opinion of the fight, if a fighter is doing more damage to their opponent with their head rather than their fists that's a problem, and if the ref's letting the fighter continue coming in with head and using excessive holding it's not doing the sport of boxing any good. Katie is not a dirty fighter maybe a bit sloppy at times. The reason it's held in dublin because they both earn big money. All over the internet its about Katie Taylor errors but nothing about Chanetelle. Chantelle kept boxing Katie in the back of the head, she also used her elbow a few times, she also used her head herself, she used her shoulder a good few times into Katie's face and lastly holding taylor by the back of the head and boxing in the face. Chantelle didn't fight a clean fight herself so maybe go back and watch the fight slowly and see Chantelle breaking the rules. Chantelle won the first fight when everyone knows Taylor wasn't at her best but Katie won second fight even if it was a knock down. So it sets up a great third fight with a huge pay day for both. Before the fight Chantelle kept saying she going to teach Katie a lesson and really rough her up. But Chantelle was not able for Katie hand speed. Now do a video on Chantelle mistakes and see what you come up with.

I did a video of a non biased review of Tyson's last fight check it out. Unintentional clash of heads no chance, Katie was flying in from the ropes from about 2 feet directly aiming for Chantelle head, the ref gave her the green light to continue it for the rest of the fight. Chantelle Cameron's management team should never have agreed for her to have to go back to Dublin to fight Katie Taylor there again. And they should never have agreed that Chantelle didn't get a rematch clause. If it was less money for Chantelle to fight in the UK that does not matter. They have failed to protect their fighter, it's been all about the money and seems like they convinced her it would be a fair fight and no chance of a robbery. But in build up interviews Chantelle has said she was worried about the fight being a robbery and that she was upset she wasn't given a rematch clause if she lost. She should sack her management, Chantelle is a champion and should not have been treated as badly as she's been by them. As for Katie Taylor, if she's feeling great because she beat Cameron then the woman is completely deluded in my opinion. Seems to me in a fair fight with good judges she has no chance 🤔

The fight didn't happen in the UK because of your promoters, brexit and contract that was signed before the first match, plus too much cost now over brexit and less revenue overall, the fight happened in dublin because of revenue, But katie dominated cameron with combos and learned not to stay in the pocket, her accuracy was phenomenal. I scored the fight 96-94 to katie and i included the knockdown in that score just to see if Katie still won and she did. Cameron did fight well no doubt, but she was outboxed and outmatched this time around.

The first fight had a rematch clause, as per the contract the rematch had to be where the highest revenue would be, which turned out to be Dublin. As for the knockdown, 100% it was legit, and I agree she should have been warned about coming in with her head. It was a very close fight, could have gone for Cameron, but I don't think you could call it a robbery which ever way it went.

Great shot Taylor off balance too but it was a nice shot. Cameron has 1 hell of a jab and right hand too. Robbery? It was a close fight I thought even after watching it back. It was a great fight and some rounds were hard to score but if that was given as a knockdown then it should have been a 10-8 round as I thought she won the round. Taylor should have lost a point atleast for headbutts all instigated by Taylor. So even with just the knockdown counted it makes it even on 2 cards I think so its a majority draw Cameron keeps her belts. But Cameron should get rid of Hearn he promotes both yet I've never seen him happier. Katie got her homecoming and lost convincingly. Boxing starting long long before Taylor turned pro. People act like she's the saviour of boxing. It was Jane Coach who went through the courts for women's boxing around the later 80's early 90's I can't recall the exact year. She opened the door for women's pro boxing plus women way before her time fought for it and were ridiculed.

Chantelle should ditch him and get a better promotor, he definitely hasn't got her best interests at heart, seems to me he has used her to get Katie to rob her belts. Just boycott this sport, it's had it's day but the corruption has spread like a cancer to the point it's terminal now, there's no saving it. Stop watching, stop feeding the beast. Step over to MMA, especially UFC, it's way more exciting (most of the time) and still isn't anywhere near as corrupt as boxing.
