On the note of "you don't owe people an explanation", people don't owe you trust either. If these "artists" are unwilling to show their art processes, then people don't have to believe their claims that they're not using AI. This goes both ways, even for legitimiate artists. Yeah, it can feel bad to be accused of doing AI, but posting a single video addressing it and showing proof is enough for most legitimate artists and is not a big deal at all, so whenever people kick up a huge fuss about it, they become suspicious by default.

@jokahzo8 күн бұрын
@@ettaetta439 my point is, if you take these as proof all you are doing at that point is basically tagging it and saying “hey this particular video is one that passes as proof of a real artist when confronted about ai.” So really what someone who messes with ai can and probably already does is have bots accuse people of ai see the results of the video and use the data from that. You are thinking about just a speed paint. I am talking about the whole process that could honestly just be a data accumulation thing.
@ettaetta4398 күн бұрын
@@jokahzo currently, we haven't reached that level of ai. So we might as well take that chance to verify what we can before it improves further. And like I said, there are thousands of legitimate speed paints on KZbin. The data accumulation has already occurred. They already have thousands of videos of the "right" processes that people will believe are real. They're just waiting for the AI to improve. The future hasn't happened yet, so we should use the methods we do have in the present to make sure artists are legit while we still can. Currently, speedpaints are still something really hard for AI or these fake artists to emulate in a satisfactory way. That's why they're typically the smoking gun when proving someone's illegitimacy. If you asked to see my work I'd be more curious as to why you want me to defend myself. If I prove I made this piece, are you going to buy it? What do I get outve this exchange? Your stamp of approval? Like some organic sticker for a banana? I get a jojocaitlin stamp of approval? I know you can say yeah but it's easy, show me your Aseprite and that's that, easy as 123. Yeah but why? Prove to me your money is real and that it's from your bank account, not stolen from the Pokémon store you robbed yesterday. Also, how do you know I didn't pirate that version of Aseprite? Or just steal it from someone and it's not my files anyway. Wanna see the process? Sure, here's me clicking on paint making a little sketch. I don't get what you would get from the 'proof' you think you're viewing. In essence, who is the police for this? If it's you, I didn't vote you're the expert to make the decision if it is or isn't AI art and we all cancel this person based on your expertise. This is another witch hunt led by people I don't think are actually good enough to lead it. I don't even mean for art. I mean for the social implications of it. People get canceled and lose their jobs over a tweet and can never work again but a serial killer in Canada killed and R'd 3 girls and her own sister, and is forgiven and out in 10 or 13 years whatever it was. It's easier to be a serial killer than to be canceled on the internet. I'd think long and hard about the implications of this witch hunt, and that all the parameters are fleshed out before blaming people, and WHO is doing the blaming, WHY, and with WHAT authority. You and the vid creator do not have my vote for the witch hunt council. I'm not being mean, it's just what it is. Get your council. Have clear rules set for yourselves on conduct, no targeting etc etc, have guidelines on how the review process works etc, all the good stuff. Then I'll show you my aseprite files with me making them. Otherwise, I don't submit 'proof' to randoms that ask. And I need $350 for my troubles cause I get nothing out of this.

I am in my 50s and when I was growing up in my art journey, I didn't have KZbin or the Internet. Just cartoons, on Saturday morning and like the few minutes before and after school. Ie Bugs Bunny, Hanna Barbera, Speed Racer, etc. I had to learn from friends, magazines, comics and how- to- draw books and learned for hours how to create the things and use techniques that crossed my eye. I would repeat the process and then brought it into my works. When AI came on the scene it messed with my head where it took me decades to improve, it could whip out art in seconds. Like if a character has too much pattern on their clothing, we'd skip some details that aren't as necessary for the overall structure, but we would never make up random details 😂 Same with drawing characters in a more casual clothing... I'm guilty of that 😂 Vtubers and rpg game characters are just way too detailed for my poor sanity, but again, more often than not, we only remove details... Not add random details... Unless were doing our own rendition of said character's or we're merging two or more characters, like for example, clothes swapping, color palette swapping or stype swapping.

20:00 so... Zeld BOTW and TOTK both are more servivle exploration games and do have moteple shealeds you can give link to use with any one handed sword you can find. but no the rests of the piece look... off. they more than likely did use AI.

look at the one in 9:35. one of her earrings is floating with no snap point whatsoever. its 100% ai.

U know, i think they made a loophole by saying "buy MY ART" cus if ppl sue them after purchasing, they can say "i didnt say i MADE IT specifically" or if ppl say they used ai art, they can say that they didnt specify that THEY DIDNT. They got this piece out of prompt. So people cant say theyre lying neither cus they just didnt say much to begin with.

Funny thing is... If the pen ink went through... How the f did the color marker didn't even leave a shadow behind 😂

honestly wouldn't surprise me if their actual hand drawn stuff was still from AI. Like if they generated an AI image and then copied it with their own hands with traditional media. Way better than just printing out AI images and selling as is... cause they're actually putting in effort, but still not great cause they're just copying. If only they just continued to practice making art themselves they might find out how enjoyable and rewarding it can be and they might even end up successfully selling stuff because they're ACTUALLY making art.

My favourite boba flavour is: grape green tea with strawberry fruit boba balls

I keep getting reels about this “artist” asking for likes and for people to buy their art and they are just showing off screenshots from TV shows with an AI generated filter slapped on top. I got pretty much the same video on two different accounts back to back before.

13:20 the shoulder has very short scratchy lines that scream traced. I only mention it because it’s a way to spot tracers. They could be tracing images off the computer to try and prove they draw them. 😅

20:33 I like matcha & condensed milk boba tea - sweet and tangy (if that's the word to describe the taste as) and close enough to teas I'm already used to. I haven't heard about taro tea until I've read another comments, but it seems it's available online - maybe I can even find a shop nearby and buy one from there

Honestly I think use ai as reference for an idea that pop in my head. I then use the image to hire artists.

18:15 that's a photoshop filter called oilpaint, they just blurred the screenshot under it then blended a little, the oilpaint is multiplied on top of it, also all of those links are not AI, they are sceenshots either the method i said before or they are using some app, there was one way back called cartoonizer that had a setting that got that look, it's basically a form of primative ai/filter, so i guess you could say it's ai but it's really more of a photoshop action

Good art takes time. The sheer volume of the number of pieces should tell people that things are sus. A full page rendering would take many, many hours.

I have to say the clearly human made pieces have an inconsistency in skill that screams copied too

i think the artist makes their own work and then feeds it into AI. an ex friend did this with artwork of my OC and it spit out a bunch of different, but same main details as my work, generated pics

First off, favorite boba is wintermelon tea! So so yummy, tastes like the milk after a bowl of lucky charms! Second, yeah that's 100% super scammy behaviour. Like just show us some in progress, show us some sketches, share your techniques and how you learn! I love seeing sketchy, messy lines and doodles from artists I follow, cause it feels so natural and human and like someone is passionate about the learning process! When artists don't, I get that gut feeling and do the dramatic eyeroll before scrolling on. It's sad that this is what we've come to as we move forward through the years, and I've already seen people at Artist Alleys have questionable art pieces that are selling tons but you can't 100% be sure if it's on the level or not. It's just so disheartening and demotivating to see people flock to this stuff without doing a little digging.

I’m a heathen who doesn’t like boba. I like a nice iced coffee with nothing but ice floating around in it. If I want to chew my drink I’ll get extra pulpy OJ.

The one with the two swans, if you reverse search it I found someone who actually posted the art. With the exact same scene. Almost like artofthewild stole the art and added a filter
