jesus i hate when friends turn out like this. i have a friend who apparently takes my art and whitewashes it behind my back. they didnt even tell me, i learned from someone else. still too scared to confront them. why cant people be NORMAL and actually be good FRIENDS to others. EDIT: I have not cut them off because I have barriers preventing me from stabily doing so, such as a lack of support system that's stable enough to be able to cut such a close friend off. Also, I am mad at the racism and the backstabbing needed to do such a thing to me. I am not one who cares if someone takes an anime character and draws them as mixed race or darker skin. But I am an independent artist who is having my own art defiled and sent to others for no clear reason.

I love Sirpyes art so much, it's such a unique style. And it's really shitty their friend did this, behind their back until literally called out. 'Pls take it down, it makes me feel shitty' yeah it should, it's a shitty thing to do. As an artist myself, a person I trust doing _this_ is one of my worst nightmares. It also shows the massive flaws in the ai. First of all, all the anatomy problems you pointed out. But it also has problems recognising canon established characters (Whisper, Cosmo, Tikal, etc) and turning them into 'generic mobian number 13' or something. It sucks not only the life out of the unique artstyle, but also sucks all the creativity out of the character. I genuinely don't understand why anyone would use, let alone buy this.

Man it sucks when a friend steals your art and claim it as there own. I had that happen to me to a friend from jr high to highschool they where taking my art for years and claiming it as my own. Then when I told people that was my art they wanted prove, and since all the art in question was done on paper. I showed them back of the work with my name and even the date it was done. When this got out a lot of our friends refused to give them free art after that, then like a idiot I forgave them and found out that on devianart they still did not give me credit and over time made another account but with there art they did. I mean if they could have done that, they should have from the start. no need to take things that are not yours. Oddly enough that was not the last time where my art was taken from me. A rando online tried to take one of my art works and say they did it for a commission pricing template. And lucky they got banned due to other artist and me reporting them. This doesn't have a happy ending sadly. I do not post art anymore. yes I draw, but it seems my art will always be good enough to steal, but never good enough to buy. So I still draw, but never post my art online anymore. And with Ai I really do not want to post any art online.

If my friend stole my art and tried to use it for profit, I’d be MANY miles past angered. A real friend should never do this because it’s dishonest and thieving. It’s one thing to use your friend’s artwork for inspiration and implementing a few techniques into your own artstyle. It’s another ball game to just flat out steal! For example, I did a drawing of Toji Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen. My friend thought it was a very good illustration and she used it as inspiration to create her own drawing of Gojo with that worm on his shoulders. You see? That’s using something for inspiration!

This situation is fucked up. However. Insulting people who cannot leave their parents' home should have been something that died down pre-2020. There are some people who are functionally invalids (may be offenseive term) or abusive parents that have fucked up the psyche of their children enough for them to not understand leaving. Additionally there are cultures where people just live with their parents until marriage. This happens in the west as well as other places. This situation is still fucked up and minors are wildin. My answer to the question is would feel pity for them. I’m a pixel artist and the biggest canvas i had was around 100 by 100 pixels, but i usually prefer less than 32 by 32 pixels. That’s why i think whoever does it to me have no self esteem, to the point they have to let AI make a 1bit, 8 by 8 pixels piece for them.
