Matt, watching this again, just discovered the output shaft bearing next to the sprocket, has completely collapsed, I bought the bike on eBay for £100, with a gearbox problem, it's a 1997 Yamaha XJ600, a year ago.....now to start dismantling it, and split the cases..your videos I will be watching a lot....

how hard would it be to replace the oil pump looking at buying a gpz500 with a er5 engine and the original gpz engine comes with it seller says the oil pump died best regards Martin Denmark
