I didn't ever expect to hear anyone else tell a story like this. I have a similar one and it seems likely there are many many others. It's strange to imagine the mindset of individuals who go about their lives using manipulation and exploitation of the naive as casually as a bus pass.

Didn't know he did stand up..this is genius because there's an underlying theme present and the moral of the story is you can get fooled by your conscience and after you have faced the consequence your conscience will tell you to do that again and u have to be strong enough to say shut up. This is how narcissists take advantage of you over and over again. So this is not only funny there's another story being told.

Last time I gave a ride to some random person, I was stoned as hell. Started talking to some random dude, and he said he would give me 10 bucks for a ride. Ended up letting him smoke some of my pot on the ride, and part way through he says, actually take me here instead. Tells me he was going to have me drive him to a Crack house, which I didn't think even existed in our rural/country area, but after smoking pot he changed his mind. The place I ended up dropping him off at looked exactly like what a country crack house looks like in your mind. Never again will I give a ride to a stranger haha.

That always seems to be the problem. Youl try to be a "good person" and help out people with rides or a little bit of cash, and to alot of people, it's just a signal to take all they can. I understand alot of it is addiction and the mindset of taking what you can while you can... But man, it really makes you feel jaded and not wanna help strangers ever again. What's the point if the people you help just see you as a taxi/ATM without ever trying to improve their own lives?
