In this video I tell you about my experience with Keen. Should you move into the 21st century with your work boots?

Late the party - but good to see this vid. Thanks for posting. Have used Keen hikers, but not work boots and think I'll try them this time around. Pick up some Shoe Goo to keep on hand to repair problems like you had with your heal - holds up pretty well. May have keep reapplying every few months, but a good cheap fix.

Thanks this really helped me make my decision to get some keens My girlfriends dad was a logger his whole life and she was trying to convince to to get Chippewa’s cause her dad wore them. And I have one pair of non work boot keens that are really comfy and I’ve owned logger style boots before(in my opinion some of the most uncomfortable shoes you can wear) so I’ll be going with keen work boots since I’m the one who’s gonna be working In them thanks

Which colorway was your first keen boot?

well thanks man. im gonna try the KEEN. FYI ... the KEEN HAMILTON is the canadian/CSA certified version, only diff is its CSA approved (which we need in canada) and the toes are composite rather than steel... hoping they will be good in winter, and comp toes are lighter than steel too... Hope these babies hold up, got em $25 off too

I spent $400cad on Keen boots and they fell apart after 3 months. I do not recommend Keen boots at all! Comfortable as hell but not durable at all. After 3 months the soles separated from the boot.

@@andyconda9644 Damn, they just arrived today... im gonna give them a try... apparently they will give you a credit for another pair if they fall apart, im going to do better at keeping my receipts.... i cant afford to buy boots every 3mo! i'll keep ya updated...

@@666dynomax i wish you well with your boots. Save your receipt! I work in mud, concrete, dirt, water, you name it. These boots aren’t built for HARD work I guess?! I was really disappointed with my boots but absolutely loved how comfortable they were. Best of luck my friend and I hope you have a better outcome than I did.

@@666dynomax Hey, I just bought a pair today. How are they keeping so far and do you like them? I'm going tree planting for 2 months and I need to durable boot. Thanks

@@watermelonhead6525 man I’ve planted trees I dunno how they’re going to hold up to that believe it or not I used to plant in orange chainsaw boots. I found them very comfortable and lasted good. Mine are holding up well. Little hot

I got a pair with the carbon toe a lot better and dryer than those old vibram mud tracking soles boots I used to wear.

I think I'm on my 5th pair now and I don't plan on getting anything else. I put at least 25 miles a week on them. They're light weight, and easy on my back. I do put other insoles in them though. I don't like the ones that come with the shoes

I bought a pair of classic red wing boots, were hell to break in for over a month, cold, and not all that comfortable.. kindda like your GF's fathers boots... well, the old timers can keep em, they might be going in the closet...
@Beastw1ck2 жыл бұрын
I thought I was doing the right thing by throwing down $220 on red wings when I started working on tugs. The darn things lasted 3 months. Soles were shot. Forget red wings.

when robots make your boots be prepared for them not to last! Glue boots are junk!
