This is a good guide for parents! As an experienced Roblox Player, I would say everything in this video is accurate. Roblox can be a very safe site for kids, and there are many games to hang out with friends in. There is also a chat feature that exists outside of games on the website, that people can make group chats in with their friends to socialize. As long as parents help kids to stay away from condo games, and games they may not like or find scary, they will be completely fine. I do recommend going into parental controls and turning off the chat feature for kids that may not be able to handle chat conversations, or are younger. I am kind to everyone, but there can be some bad people on the site, which I have experienced a numerous amount of times. Other than that, Great video!

Thank you so much for this comment! I’m just going through the video now but I’ve recently questioned how safe it really is for my young son. If I turn off the chat feature, will they still be able to see chats?

This is very informative. My son is almost eight and has been asking for roblox over the past year. So far i ve been able to deviate his attention but now we have come to a point i kind of have to give in. So im going to allow him but with safety features on

They have changed the safety settings a little since this video. Mild is now the most restrictive. If you have questions you can email me. My kids play roblox and nothing worrying has happened so far but I do stay on top of it.

Thanks again. I v been playing games since age of 12 but i dont get why kids are so obsessed with roblox as now there are way better games with better graphics. I even allow them to play some games irrespective of pg ratings by turning off blood, gore and bad language. We even play split screen local co op games which is so much fun. But i dont get roblox as graphics arent even much great. May be its a genertional thing. But i think i may have to sit with him and play it to undertand whats the deal

A good option is to turn off all communications and have your child connect with their friends on facebook Kids Messenger app while playing Roblox, this will enable them to voice chat still but also blocks any random Roblox users from chatting to your child

I'm a dad of 3 boys who has made hundreds of videos playing video games with my kids on my own KZbin channel, but I'll never let my kids play Roblox. It's trash in every way.

Nah roblox horror games arent scary mostly. i have only been slightly thrilled in 1 horror game wich whas only at 1 part of that game whas prob best horror game i played sadly it got banned cus of its brutal gore and blood and stuff

If you pick a game to play with them it might be fun. I wouldn't just give them access to it on their own.

Roblox is mostly safe and the only way to find a sus game is by actually searching for it deep into the firey pits of roblox. also there has been only 1 horror game on roblox that has been slightly thrilling and that whas at only 1 part in that horror game the rest of the parts where nothing scary. also there is 2 ways to get free robux wish is through microsoft rewards but u will need a microsoft account for it and through donation games but there u first need to make a gamepass or a item.
