I am 51 and my brother is 47 and we were like the brothers in this video absolute best buddies camp and fish together he was even best man at my 1st wedding and then around age 25 or so he started abusing drugs and alcohol and haf a heart attack at age 27 and was declared disabled at age 35 then in November 2018 he wrecks bicycle and breaks his hip and started to get better then yesterday October 3rd 2021 he has a seizure while driving his bicycle home and had surgery where he messed up his hip again. He has had a few seizures over the years hasnt drive because of it. Albecauae ofdrug and alcohol abuse . He was once a working man bring home over a thousand a week after taxes . PLEASE take it from me i lost my best friend 20 years ago he hasn't been the same person since. please leave drugs and alcohol alone it can happen to you

My brother has been gone since 2006. He was such a good big brother. Took me with him everywhere he went even though I was 5 years younger. His friends just had to accept it. He put his arm around me while this song played one night. Taught me so many good things. I wish I could hug his neck and tell him I love him one more time. Gives me a little solace knowing I love you were the last words I said to him. RIP BRO. Your my hero.

lost my little brother 20 years ago, his 53 birthday is today, he was my best friend never in a million years did think we wouldn't be sitting on a creek bank fishing together til we both were ready to go. He was in my backseat for 2 proms, my teammate through jr high and high school, my roommate in college, and I drove 6 hours home from Indy to SE Ky every weekend when I moved away. There was just us 2, and half myself went with him. This song and these comments help, it's sad I'm not alone, but it is comforting, much love.

I lost my brother 2 years after Dessert Storm. There was 3 of us girls. I was the tomboy, didn't get into dolls or playing house, so I hung out with my brother and his friends. We had so much fun climbing trees, even jumped off the roof of the house until mom came home early one day and caught us. My brother was 42 when he passed. I remember hearing on the news that many soldiers from Dessert were dying of heart attacks, and that's exactly what happened to my brother! I will always treasure our time together.

I never knew I had a brother until I was 30 years old. My mother kept that secret from me until she knew she was dying. Three days after she passed that said brother showed up at my doorstep. The only thing he was interested in was what he could get from my mother. After realizing we were poor and had nothing of value, he showed his true colors almost instantly and turned on me and the rest of what remains of my family. I grew up an only child wishing I had a brother. But after seeing my long lost brother for what he truly is, I’m kinda glad I never really had one.

It's been 24 years now since I lost my younger brother he had just turned 48 years Young he was my rock and my prayer partner and I miss him tremendously he had hit rock bottom and had nowhere to go but when the Lord came into his life and saved his soul he became a preacher and not just because he was my brother but he was a great preacher and he could pray one powerful prayer this was in 1998 and I still miss him tremendously everyday life when he preached he always said when it came time for him to face death he didn't think he would be afraid he said I might be a little bit anxious but I believe the Lord's going to take all the fear out of my death when it comes time for me to face it I'm going to walk through that dark shadow and the Lord's going to take my hand and walk me onl through to the other side I miss him tremendously and think of him each and every day since his passing he always preached there is no sting in death to a Christian what a true and powerful statement that is I miss and love you dearly my sweet precious brother he always said he couldn't wait to see our mother and all our loved ones that have gone on before him I know he is happy in heaven and is watching over the rest of us each and every day❤️🙏

This song makes me think of my relationship with my brother. Those times were awesome but last night I was able to witness this same type of love in my children. My 16 year old daughter went on her 1st real date. My youngest son 13 sat on the couch waiting on his sister to get home lol. Good news is her curfew was 10pm and her date had her home at 9:30. For right now he is a keeper.
