is the ashford 24 rigid heddle hard to carry to class? it doesn't fold up like the knitters or is that better to get.

No, it doesn't fold up, but it would be ok to carry to a class - a little big, but would certainly fit on a car seat. Some prefer the knitter's loom so they can fold it, but I have never used one, so can't give you an appraisal on it.

Hello can these projets be done on a floor loom with pedales

The pick up is all done from the front of the loom, so you could do it on a floor loom, but you would still be using the pick up stick at the front.

For the 2nd row, you say it should be 6u, 8d, but you weave 6d, 8u. Is the pattern incorrect?

Goodness me, you're right! I'm amazed that no one has pointed this out before. Obviously I must have realised the mistake in the video, as when it skips ahead all the rows are correctly woven. I wasn't brilliant at editing back then, I was just starting out so that explains why I didn't edit that part out. Please follow the written instructions for that part, my 2017 self apologises for the mistake! 😆

Maybe I beat a bit tight, my snowmens are a bit flat.

It depends on the yarn you use as well, I used wool in 8ply (light worsted, dk) so it is bouncy and fills in the spaces between.

Kelly Casanova I think it's because of the spaced warp (cotton mercerized ) and thicker yarn. Maybe I should use a balanced setting for this?
