For anyone watching this as June 14th 2022, there is NO new updates on this case other than they FBI coming out and stating they are 99% sure this case will be solved at some point. That is it, so again NO NEW UPDATES, the remains found in 2020 have NOT been confirmed to be that of Crystal's. For what it's worth and in my humble unexprienced opinion it was definitely Brooks and the brother Nick 100% is complicit in the cover up. R.I.P Crystal and Tommy I truly truly hope that the family ESPECIALLY Sherry find the truth, get the justice they so dearly deserve and sooner rather than later, somehow are able to bring Crystal home and lay her to rest properly alongside her beloved Dad.

Her dads “hunting accident” is WAY too coincidental. He was getting too close on their tracks and Brooks and or his brother took him out. And Nick’s colleague’s death seems too coincidental as well. Maybe they have a serial killer(s) on their hands in that town. A police officer would be a good cover.
@reneadial4 жыл бұрын
I live an hour away from Bardstown & TRUST ME, this allll is intertwined & was no “coincidence”. Brooks killed Crystal & had his brother help him cover it up Bc he’s a cop... Brooks knew that Nick could help him & that’s why he called him during his interrogation & told him to leave! I’m PRAYING the remains found turn out to be hers. For the families sake so they can get some closure. And that they confess to killing her dad as well as the hit on Jason. It’s all connected. It has to be. 😣

My theory is that Nick was a dirty cop, Brooks was probably helping him (laundering drug money through rental properties or his construction business?) and Crystal found out too much info by working with Brooks for his rentals/being in a relationship with him. So she had to go. I don’t know which one killed her, but I think both brothers are equally as guilty. It may explain why the IRS is involved in following leads. Follow the money and maybe they’ll get enough to charge the brothers.

The 19-year-old was over seven months pregnant at the time of her disappearance, and her remains weren't found until August 1983. They were discovered on a farm close to where Rogers’ car was found. Her estranged husband, Edsel “Eddie” Barnes, and another man, George Weir, were eventually convicted and sentenced to life in prison for her murder.

There are MAJOR updates. The FBI is digging up around a house that her boyfriend was building at the time she died. They have found many 'items of interest', but have stopped digging because of Ida.

Tommy was getting too close to the truth and that’s why he was murdered. This whole case is so frustrating. I hope the family gets justice for both Crystal and Tommy.

Alyssa Kelly. !! I love both Kendall Rae and Bailey Sarian My 2 favourite True Crime story tellers. I think they should collaborate with a crime that hasn’t been talked about together im person obeying covid rules and Bailey can do some funky colourful eyes , fabulous make up on Kendra ‘s beautiful face ! Talk about a strange , murder mystery story , that has been solved or is a cold case !

I just find it interesting that there are so many cops involved in suspicious deaths all the time. Even your big cases like Jonbenet Ramsey or Caylee Anthony...... Retired cops. All these stories is like they know to confuse feds to the point no one is charged for anything most of the time. It's really scary when the people that you're supposed to trust end up being behind it all.

I live one county away and we all have our own theories of what happened to Crystal. Unfortunately it all boils down to Brooks. He walks around town like he owns it and like he did nothing. Everyone knows he did. I hope she gets justice soon.

I live 10 minutes away from bardstown and her case is a hard one to forget. So many unsolved deaths here in Nelson County if they solve her case maybe they can solve the others her father knew too much and I believe that's why he was shot . I also think that's why Jason Ellis was shot and killed also . All are connected and it's just a matter of time before the truth comes out . I pray for their families that they get justice for their loved ones.

Hi Kendall, don't know if you know the latest update on this case, but about a month ago a Jason Lawson was arrested on conspiracy to comment murder and tampering with physical evidence, then 2 weeks later Brooks Houck was arrested for conspiracy and the murder of Crystal Roger's., possibly a 3rd will be arrested soon, at Brooks arraignment the prosecuting attorney said they have the gun and testing this gun it is believed to be used in the shooting death of Tommy Ballard, the attorney also said they purchased the gun from Nick Houck and Nick used another name in this transaction, another big thing the prosecuting attorney said is they have proof that members of Brooks Houcks family including his mother taped Brooks Grand Jury hearing he is setting in jail on a 10 million dollar bond and the Judge has refused to lower his bond. I have a feeling Brooks brother will be joining him behind bars soon. Thanks for your coverage. I hope justice can be done for Chrystal and her father Tommy Ballard, SHERRY Ballard deserves to see justice done as the other family members and the Bardstown Community. Thank you for covering Crystal's story. 1:20 2:28

Right? “I’m so glad you asked that question”. 😑 Can’t tell what’s worse, the way he answered those questions, or the fake a$$ tone and acting in the interrogation call when his cop bro called: “I’m innocent, wait? Your tellin’ me I should leave then, wellll, if you insist”. NOT FISHY AT ALL!

No offense to Stephanie Harlow but I literally was on her video of this case and my ADD kicked in so I started scrolling down to see recommended videos and saw Kendall did coverage on this case and I immediately left the video and clicked on Kendall’s video. Her coverage and video style are my favorite. Her and Christina Randall actually are my faves and who I recommend to people ❤
